“Clean and Refreshing”

Even I spend only one night, the room was clean, had 42" LCD, all new furnitures. three minuets walk from a subway station. it is a little far from Manhattan and JFK for public transportation (about an 45 minuets to Manhattan and an hour to JFK)

“Great Hotel”

I stayed at this hotel for one night in August, and I was very pleased. It is close to Manhattan, very clean, with comfortable rooms. The hotel staff were very accomodating, even allowing me to check out 30 minutes late when I was delayed in the morning on the subway. The neighborhood is alright; it didn't feel dangerous at all. I definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

“Brooklyn New Hotel”

The Hotel is new new new...everything very clean and comfortable...very good service as well...the only problem is the location and the in/out = motel kind. They should separated the costumers type by level...not family hotel, for sure...

“Fantastic bargain, 3 subway stops to Manhattan”

We were extremely pleased with our choice of Kings Hotel. They offer free parking and really nice (but not large) rooms for the price. The front desk appears to be staffed all day and night, and the workers were all friendly and helpful. The neighborhood isn't gentrified, but it's quiet and appeared safe. We had no qualms walking the half block to the subway stop. The hotel is in a mixed-used strip -- there's an auto body shop, a tile store and a heating oil company on the block -- so there's nothing much going on after business hours and the block is dark aside from streetlights. You can hear some noise from the hall in the room, but not if the TV's on. They also offer free WiFi. Kings Hotel would be our first choice on our next visit to the city.

The Hotel is rather tucked away in a side street but is close to the subway and provided all that was required in a economical but comfortable stay in New York.

“Nice place to stay”

My boyfriend and I went to this hotel in August for a three day stay and if you're looking for somewhere in brooklyn to stay for cheap that's not too far from the big city this is a value deal. It takes approximately 20 mins on the subway to get to Manhattan and there's no traffic in the immediate area around the hotel. Not too many food choices, and not the most appealing neighbourhood, but the hotel is clean and the staff nice. All in all, it was a good stay.

“Nice hotel but...”

The hotel itself is not that bad. The rooms, hallways, lobby are very clean and they have surveillance. The stairs at the front door really drove me nuts, we had heavy suitcases and we had to carry them up and down the stairs at the time of arrival/departure. Shouldn't they have a ramp thing that's built right beside the stairs for suitcases/wheelchairs?? There's an elevator besides the stairs but it's never in operation.

“OK Visit”

I did not like the parking garage, limited to 6 parking space. Other than that I was very please with the hotel.
