“Downtown Phoenix hidden secret”

The hotel was affordable and close to Phoenix's main attractions. The staff is pleasant and accomodating. Will visit again!

“Close to all pro sporting events!”

Don't let them put you in the creepy hallway rooms that don't have the balcony and are by the street. But they did move us to a much better room upon request that had the balcony. If you don't need posh, it's a decnt place to stay with good downtown location & a fair price.

“Acceptable for business”

The air condition was VERY loud and could not sleep through the night.It was also not working correctly and was too warm in the room.

“Great location f”

Perfectly located for sports enthusiasts. In walking distance to ball park and basketball arena. Pool is nice and overall is a good deal. Hotel does need to replace some of the older, less comfortable beds.

“Not too Impresed”

This hotel is an older building that has been remodoled some time ago. Room was clean, small and if your not going to be in your room, except to sleep, was OK. Food was C- at best. We would stay ther again but will not eat there, except maybe breakfast. And that for convienance. Price was right as downtown hotels go. And good on site free parking.

“Affordable downtown hotel”

The on-site restaurant is fine. Internet serice seemed unavailable except for dial-up which functioned poorly. This is an older property but it seemed well maintained. It is within easy walking distance of the convention center and downtown.

“Below expectations”

The Ramada Inn in downtown Pheonix did not measure up to my expectations of the Ramada brand name. The staff was friendly and courteous, but the physical condition of the hotel was disappointing.

Valley Metro Red Line buses leave from terminals 3 and 4 (exact location may vary due to construction) and go to Central Station, one block from the hotel on Central Av.     Getting around: The easiest way is on foot. The hotel is in the busy downtown core and within walking distance of restaurants, stores, the Convention Center, sports facilities, and Valley Metro’s Central Station. The nearest stop on the DASH route is a block away on 2nd St and Van Buren. DASH buses are free and wind through the downtown area from Fifth St to 19 Av, going by museums, City Hall, business and financial offices, Symphony Hall, and the State Capitol. Many guests get along without a car but driving is still the best way to see attractions outside the city core.
