“Good hotel for the price and location”

This hotels fits the description and it's what I expected for the price I paid for. Parking in the hotel is tight. If you have a big car, you would have a tough time getting in and out of the garage.

“Affordable, but for a reason”

I needed a room in Sydney on short notice. Edgeclif is what I found. The location is nice--within a few km of the Opera house, museums etc. The hotel is a bit run down--carpets a bit worn, rust stains in shower,. Things like that. There was no one on duty at the reception desk after 11pm. One night some guests started partying and then argued to all hours of the night. I went to the desk, but no one was there. So short of calling the police there weren't many options. If wasn't a great room but it's hard to find much of anything for a reasonable rate that's near downtown Sydney. The room quality was a compromise that I was willing to make.

“Convenient location at good price”

Views are fantastic. Rooms comfortable, but daily housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Parking inadequate and difficult in streets. Convenient location for Eastern suburb area, walk from train and shops.

“Nothing special, but good enough!”

The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is very close to the train station which can bring us to the city most of the time - the train operates from 5 AM to 12 PM. Another plus point: The customer service was very helpful showing us where to go to get the best of our Sidney holiday. The hotel condition is just about in average, but we only need it to sleep over nights, while during the days we were all day travelling - so it is fine after all. But we got also a non-smoking floor as they advertised - It is excellent! After all, thanks heaps!

“Judy Clark”

the place was a dump. It had been sold and the shower curtain was filthy and moldy. I asked for another room and got a view of the harbor with an equally filthy shower curtain. The parking was terrible and my car got hit by another car trying to back into the small spaces.
