“Great Hotel..Great Service!!!”

I stayed at the Islander for 13 days and everything was awesome. The service was great! The people at the desk were very helpful and friendly. The new beachwalk was right next door and was connected to the hotel lobby. A little construction was going on but you hardly noticed it. My only complaint was the bed. It was a little firm for my taste. For the price you absoluyely can't go wrong!

If you don't want to stay on the beach or just want a place to overnight waiting for a cruise or plane, dont spend more than you have to. this wasperfect.

“Great Location in downtown Honolulu, one block from Waikiki!”

Very clean hotel, close to all--Waikiki, International Marketplace, Galleria Shopping, great stores. Even has a swimming pool. Folks working there are very nice. We extended checkout, so spent more time at the beach prior to our flight home. Pay parking available, but there is also a shuttle to and from airport for $9 per person.

“Very Impressed - Planning my next visit for November”

The Islander really impressed me. Waikiki is my favorite vacation spot and I have stayed at all the 4 star hotels on the beach. Much wiser now and would rather pay alot less and put up with a little inconviences. After all I just want a comfortable place to sleep. My room was clean, had a great view of Honolulu City lights, small refrigerator, complementary coffee and the hotel personel were very helpful and friendly. A lot of construction going on in the area but no noise and no swimming pool at this time , but you can use the Outrigger Reef pool on the beach about one block away. I am planning my next trip for November and for about half the price as the 4* hotels, I am going to book the Islander.

“Good value for the dollar”

This was our second stay at this hotel. Even though there is construction nearby, it didn't bother very much. this hotel has a very good location for restaurants, entertainment, shopping and the beach. This helped, as both my wife and I are older and a bit handicapped. Service was good and we enjoyed ourselved very much. In the near future the construction nearby will be completed and all will be great.

This hotel is located across from Royal Hawaiian shopping center, Louis Vuitton, Sheraton hotel...Center of everything!! Staffs are very friendly and room is very clean. Only thing I didn't like was the room didn't have a bath tub...just shower. Other than that, I really liked this hotel. Room was kind of small but not too small. Hotel was under construction when I stayed there(9/16-9/19/2007), but I didn't hear any noise. I went to Hawaii with my mother this time, but I am planning to go back there with my boyfriend and will definitely stay Ohana Waikiki Islander Hotel again!!!

“Very Impressed”

There was construction going on across the street but it was not noisy at night. The room was very clean and the staff was excellent. Very convienient to everything in the area. Will definately stay here again when I return.

“Position is good. Close to downtown and close to beach.”

When I was there, the hotel pool was under construction, so didn't really enjoy the pool. An alternative was to use the pool in its partner hotels, but wasn't bother to do so. The location is really good. Right beside the downtown area, and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Close to all the pick up and drop off places for island activities, like scuba diving or grand island tour.
