“Great room for a great price and close to the stadiums”

This hotel is very hard to beat for the price. It's in a great location right off the interstate and next to several restaruants and stores. It's also just a short drive further down the highway to the Kansas City stadiums and downtown KC itself. Great hotel if you want to visit the city or watch a sports event and don't want the hassle and busyness of a hotel in the city. Nothing fancy but nice clean rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lightbulb going out and the maintenance man had it corrected within 5 minutes of calling. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby.

“Great if you have animals and kids”

We were visiting family and needed a place that could house our dogs. This was a great hotel for the price and comfort. They even had a rollaway for my son. We have stayed at some pretty nice hotels that didn't have rollaways so that was a great plus. Coffee maker was awesome!

Only a short 15 min. drive to downtown KC and when you need a place to sleep and clean up, Red Roof Inn gets the job done.

“it was what we needed for the night”

We went to a game at the baseball stadium. It was close within driving distance and reasonably priced. No this is not a five star hotel, but it worked for the one night we were there. Would I book it for my family vacation no. For a place to er...pass out in after a sporting event...yes.

Perfectly mediocre. The room was big enough but not particulary impressive in any way. You can probably do better.

“Dirty, rude staff”

The staff at this chain of hotels is rude at best and our room was not clean. Though the carpet was recently replaced, there was an old slurpy cup under the bed and long black hair on the floor in the bathroom - YUCK! They charged us extra to have our 6 year old daughter in our rooms, then didn't provide any towels for her (only 2 large towels). We were meeting family at this hotel and requested that our rooms be together when we arrived. They refused to put us next to each other. And the place wasn't even full. They did allow us to keep our dog in the room and not charge any extra - other than that. Stay away.

“Maid work satisfactory. Motel old and dirty and smelled bad. Bad 3 nights.”

Motel room was dirty walls and carpet and really smelled bad. Maid service was satisfactory. Saturday night noisy with people going to rooms and hanging over balcony yelling. Lots of partying going on.
