Charing Cross - a Guoman Hotel

“Great location!”

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for some advice about where to dine. The location was amazing since it was so close to the underground, which made it very convenient to travel around the city. The breakfast was okay, but nothing too spectacular. I definitely recommend the hotel.

The only complaint I had with the hotel is that when I booked the room, I was specific about wanting 2 twin beds instead of one King size bed. When they came up to split the king bed it was not two twins...it could not be split. When we asked for a different room, we were told we would have to wait 2 days before another room would be available. They did offer to bring in another bed, but it would have taken up all of the extra space in the room so we declined and just used the King size bed. It was very comfortable though :-) The room was always very clean when we returned in the afternoon. Also, the location is PERFECT! We were in London for 10 days and stayed at the Charing Cross-Guoman Hotel the entire time. It was really a great place to stay.

Excellent emplacement au coeur de Londres; à 2 minutes de Trafalgar square et à 5mn de Covent Garden. Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme. Personnel très accueillant et chaleureux. Hôtel très bien entretenu, chambres spacieuses (pour Londres), service rapide petit déjeuner inclu et correcte.

“Charing Cross the ideal place to stay”

My wife and I really enjoy staying at this hotel. It is so conviently located and the hotel staff is really good. London is expensive, so relatively speaking this hotel is a good "value". The breakfast that we had there was quite good as well.

“Great Location”

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very beautiful but the best part of the hotel is the location. There are two tube stations to take you anywhere and there are lots of attractions within walking distance.

“Wonderful”

I absolutely loved staying at Thistle Charing Cross. The rooms were spacious, there was a shower and a bath tub, ironing board, and sheets that smelled wonderful. I also loved that we were at Charing Cross Tube Station. The location was within walking distance to great shopping, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Buckingham Palace, and a lot of the plays. The staff was always pleasant and helpful with directions! I will definitely go back the next time I'm in London-which I loved.

“A Definate Winner”

This hotel is perfectly placed for visiting Londons top attractions and Theatre Land. We stayed here on an overnight visit in July and found our reception very welcoming, from the concierge greeting to the very friendly receptionist everything was very well done. The hotel itself has a really grand entrance area which follows through to the dining areas and bedrooms. Due to our air conditioned room we were able to close our window on the first floor and had a perfectly peacefull night without the life of London being a problem. The food here is exceptional - although the bar is a little pricy, but with so many choices within 2 minutes walk this should not put you off. Being just a stones throw from the London Eye and the Embankment aswell as the many cultures and entertainers that make up Covent Garden help to make this an ideal choice for staying in London without breaking the bank. We will definately stay here again.

“Easy to access via underground and would definitely go back”

Hotel was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. Room large with king size double bed and en suite. Safe installed and free to use, bathrobe. Lovely shower creams, soap tec and several other nice touches. Woudl certainly return there

“Excellent Location and Service”

Great Service and Location, close to theatres, restaurants, pub's and shopping. Very good full breakfast, request your cupons upon arrival. Rooms are good size as well as bathroom, with Hi speed Wi-Fi internet connection (10 Pounds per day). I would really recommend this hotel.
