“Killarney is great.”

The hotel was in a great part of Killarney. It was clean and the breakfast was great. The rooms were also very affordable.

“Ireland hotel in Bunratty”

This hotel was wonderful! They have a sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool! The have a restaurant and bar too and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a block from the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park too!

“late/early flight from shannon? great hotel location”

Arrived at shannon aiport at 11pm so this hotel was right for the price and location. Bus stop is literally at their doorstep, about 15 min ride from aiport, less than 4 euro. Continental breakfast was 8.25 euro & full irish brkfst was 13 euro. Doing some minor maintenance to hotel, only problems were very minor cosmetic - overall my room was comfortable & secure. Castle is right next door w/the shopping/tourist center across street. I only stayed one night so I don't know how their pool or other facilities are. Would stay here again!

“Location, location”

The hotel is strategically located to the airport(10 minutes), good dining(5 minute walk) and to several attractions. The city of Ennis in nearby and worth a visit.

“Nice place, friendly staff”

I stayed here one night by myself because I had a flight from Shannon the next morning. The staff was extremely friendly- they answered all of my questions and booked a taxi for me for the following morning. The food in the pub was good and it was a nice atmosphere. I felt comfortable eating there alone.

“Excellent Base of Operations For Western Ireland”

We used the Bunratty Shannon Shamrock hotel as a focal point to tour the central western area of Ireland. It worked out fine. Bunratty was a nice little town with several Pubs and attractions easily within a walkable distance. While we would recommend renting a car, there is a Bus Ireland stop right outside the Hotel that is a real convenience.

The hotel was more than suitable. The castle is well worth the time and a couple of great restaurants in area.

Very convenient to Bunratty Castle and local shopping nearby. Prices are very reasonable. Very convenient to Shannon Airport, as it is located right on the bus line. Food was very good. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

“Room Maintenance”

This would ordinarily classify as a 3-4 star hotel, and is convenient to Shannon Airport. We did not realize until we had gone to bed that the room heat was on full, and could not be turned off. Since it was already very late, and we had an early departure for the airport, we did not try to get a room change. We opened the window fully, and made it through the night, although with discomfort. We found that someone had tried to turn the heat valve off, probably turned it the wrong way, and twisted the valve handle off. We notified the desk at departure.
