“Good place to stay”

The room was very luxurious after staying in hostels in Europe. Taxis are a cheap way to get around Dubai in the heat and the hotel would procure them for us quickly. The staff were always very polite and helpful. We had some problems with the power supply in our room tripping off frequently, but once we'd located the switchboard we could remedy this ourselves - maybe it's caused by the very strong air conditioning that kept us cool (almost too cool at times!) The swimming pool was closed for renovation but is due to reopen soon.

“Great Value for the Money”

Good Service - Lovely Room - Great Restaurant Variety on-site - close to Supermarket only 100 meters away. Lovely Workout Gym and Swimming Pool - view of the Tallest Building in the World out my window which was only a short distance away by Taxi - COnvention Center walking distance away - approximately 2 miles.

“Perfect stopover”

This is a comfortable 4 star hotel situated 15 minutes from the airport. It is perfect for a stopover of several nights. The staff is extremely accommodating and there is a very nice pool. The breakfast is excellent and the Indian restaurant very good. This is not a large luxury hotel but very comfortable and welcoming and there are free shuttles to Dubai Mall and the Beach area and a 10 ti 15 minute taxi ride to the Airport.

“Great time in Dubai”

This was a perfect location. There were also great restraunts and bars located inside the hotel. The staff was very friendly and very accomodating. I will stay here again when I come back through.

“Reasonable price and good location”

An excellent hotel in Dubai. Very central for losts of the attractions including the beach and cuty. The hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating and the rooms are spacious and very clean. We ate in both the Mexican restaurant and Italian and both were excellent - make sure you sign up for a Rydges priority club card (you can do it at the hotel) for 20% discount on all food and drinks purchased whilst staying there! This is the third time we have stayed at the Rydges - whilst it is not as swanky as some of the other Dubai hotels you get value for money and the pool area is lovely for relaxing after a hard days sightseeing.

“Good value”

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are good size and comfortable with free internet. The hotel has several bars and restaurants giving plenty of choice. Location near the WTC is great if you are visiting for an exhibition. At the price this is great value, it's cheaper as it's older and not in 'posh' new are of the city. I will stay here again.

“Rydges Plaza”

A great hotel, especially for the reasonable price. Centrally located it is good to visit most of the Dubai attractions, while being close enough to the airport. A well maintained room included a nice bath and spacious shower, though the sink didn't drain very well leaving a bit of a smell! The bed was large and comfortable with clean sheets. One critisism of the room was the TV, which was circa 1980. Good bar facilities and restaurants are available, "Legends" is recommended. One problem was the lack of freely available internet, even staff seemed confused as how to access it. All in all, a very enjoyable exprience and I would stay there again.
