“amazing 2 star hotel, great 2.5 star, not sure what makes it 3 star”

this was probably the least amazing expedia unpublished rate hotel i have experienced. absolutely nothing wrong with the place, it was probably a Holiday Inn in a previous life. on the other hand, nothing exceptional about it either. no fridge or microwave in room. beds were ample and room was clean. the gigantic outdoor hot tub was by far the best feature of the hotel. the wireless internet was VERY spotty. i just fail to see what qualified the place as a 3 star hotel. as a 2 star i would be raving about it. as a 2.5 star i would definitely recommend the place. as a 3 star....i just expect some people will feel misled or disappointed.

“Don't understand the name change”

Apparently it was a Holiday Inn until recently. Decent property but a tad overpriced. There's nothing special about it that would make the $100+ justified. And that doesn't include any kind of breakfast! If you want to wait until the breakfast bar opens at 6:30 (and I couldn't), it's about $15 is is also kind of steep for what they had.

“Put My Worries to Rest!”

I had huge anticipation about staying at this hotel. But it was rodeo week and the other 22 hotels I tried were full. So, I booked it and held my breath. BUT BUT! I was really just fine at this hotel. The bed was solid, the room completely clean, they didn't have a shower cap, but other than that, it was FINE! Would I go back as a first choice? Still probably no, as I like a hotel that is more upscale. This is a former Holiday Inn, but they were clearly working to upgrade it. It is right at the center of action, so the location helps to minimize time in traffic. For the value, there is nothing objectionable.

Not exactly sure what is going on there maybe transition but the bar was not open as adverstised..somethimes it is nice to have a beer afterwork?? Rooms are ok nothing spectacular looked like there was leakage from above the room I was in..ceiling spotted. Would be nice to have a frig in room. Other than that it was ok decent location..across the street from galleria.

“Staff is incompetent”

My wife got into an argument with the lady at the front desk over reporting an elevator out of order. The front desk attendant claimed that housekeeping was propping the door open on a higher floor, when in actuality the elevator was on the lobby floor and the doors wouldn't shut. This lady was dense.

“Average.Other more impressive hotels in this area.”

Not many people were in the hotel, appeared as if it was being remodeling.

the hotel was fine, clean , the second floor ice machine was not working, but overall it was confortable. the front desk personel need to be more polite.
