“Great location”
Walking distance to St Stephens Green, shopping centre, Trinity college and other attractions. Supermarket and pubs around the corner.
“Nice hotel to stay”
The Hotel is located within walking distance to the city centre and shopping/eating area. Bus 16A stops near the Hotel from Dublin Airport (2.4 Euro one way). The kitchen is very handy. We really enjoyed the stay and would go back if we visit Dublin next time.
“wonderful 2 bedroom apartment”
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The dryer portion of the washer/dryer combo machine didn't work too well, but everything else was excellent. We were in walking distance to Trinity College, and there was a little convenience/grocery store across the street. Nice little patio.
“loved it”
the hotel was in a safe part of dublin and a short walk from everything. it was clean and very comfortable!
“Had a great stay with my family of 5”
We stayed in a 2 bedroom for 2 nights in late March of 2006. My husband and I have 3 small kids and we found Shaw Court to be very clean and very comfortable. We were thrilled to have the space for some of us to sleep and some of us to be awake with out disturbing one another. We found it quiet here midweek, and felt safe as one can in a city walking about with our kids during the day (we didn't venture out with them at night). Luckily we were told on the phone by a hotel employee that there is no parking (not even limited) provided by the hotel. Had we shown up with our rental car it would have been a major headache with 3 kids and all our luggage.
“Safe and secure”
Pleasant and very safe. Could get a little loud on the weekends but that is expected. Kitchen was well equipped and washer/dryer worked out very well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice clean, secure apartment while in Dublin.
“Very impressed”
we went to dublin and had 3 nights here. the appartments are about a 10 minute walk from the centre (15 to the temple bar area). The appartment complex is fantastic. its new, well maintained and because you have to check in at the main hotel, the receptionist got a porter to walk us to the appartment complex as we didnt know where it was. i would highly recommend it
“Can't wait to return.”
This was the cleanest apartment room I have ever been in. It did take some getting adjusted to waiting to flush the toilet (I guess for water pressure). Location was in walking distance to everything. Price reasonable also.
“Good location”
Grandparents and two granddaughters ages 9 & 13, comfortable as long as the children had the hide-a-bed. Small European room, but more than adequate for touring. The apartments are three blocks from the hotel you check into. Bell service is great. If there is not a football game in town the aparments are quiet. The weekend had football and hurling so young folks from out if town were staying in the apartment and spent the night howling.
“Yes I would return, but.....”
not on the weekends. The single biggest problem was noise. On the weekends, you have people coming and going until ealy in the morning. The noise situation imprroved during the week. The hotel staff was very helpful. The condition of the apartment was pretty good. It's in an interesting location, fairly close to St. Stephen's Green and Trinity College.
