“Great Stay!”

We arrived at the hotel early in the day, well before check in. They were able to get us into a room that morning, which was greatly appreciated after driving all night to get there. We ate breakfast in the hotel every morning, it was a mix of buffet and a la carte'. Both were good and priced reasonably. The hotel was very clean, warm and very inviting. The room was large and spacious and was equiped with a large television, cable and a brand new coffee maker. We were impressed with the view of Mont Sainte Anne. The swimming pool was small to average size and clean. The hottub was not quite working properly, which was a little dissapointing, but not devastating. We had dinner at the hotel one night, and our meals were fantastic. I would class the food as upscale to fine dining, great presentation and delicious. The most impressive thing about this hotel was the service of all of the staff. Everyone spoke very good english and were very friendly and very helpful. They did not have to check us in early, call our room (at our request) with the current ski conditions report and even reccomended a great pizza joint one evening. I would like to say thank you to all of the staff at Hotel Val de Neiges, and we will be back!

“Nice and relaxing stay”

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in this hotel, staff is very friendly, we enjoyed the pool and the outdoor hot tub (while it was snowing). Our room was nice and clean. We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant's and really liked the food. It is close to Mont Ste Anne and Le Massif, for those who like skying, also, the Nordic Spa is a really neat experience.

“Ideal choice if you have a car”

Everything was nice in this hotel. It is about 40 minutes drive from Quebec city; so you need a car.

We have stayed here several times in the past 3 -4 years and have always been very satisfied with the service, friendliness, cleanliness and convenience of the hotel to Mont Ste. Anne for Mountain Bike world cups and Canada cups. They also have an excellent breakfast buffet for a reasonable price and again excellent service and food quality. Only thought is that they should consider carpet maintainence. as it is getting worn and could very well change the aesthetics regarding the cleanliness factor.

“Great hotel”

Very nice hotel. Our room was very nice and was huge, bathroom a little small but did have jetted tub. Restaurant was nice and food was good but restaurant service was a little slow, especially since there were only a few diners.

“Excellent Value...Great Location”

I booked the Hotel Val Des Neiges through Expedia, we had no idea what to expect.We booked a double bed with a couch and the room was massive. The staff were all very nice, and spoke very good english. The towels were amazing, and the room was very clean. We had a lower level room with a walkout patio door that lead to our own sitting area.(no view) It was winter so we didn't use this area. The hotel has an indoor pool that was immaculate(not heated) and an outdoor hottub that was great. There were tons of towels in this area so we didnt have to use our room ones which was nice.There are 2 restaurants located in the hotel, 1 is a pub and the other a buffet for breakfast and dining for dinner. We ate the buffet one morning for $11 each. It was actually very good, but to keep costs down we ventured into the nearby town and both ate for that price. This hotel is located 30 mins from Quebec City and is a short shuttle (free) to the ski hill Mount Saint Anne.We had a vehicle and parking was free at the ski hill, and also the staff there were all exceptionaly friendly and english speaking. Over all, I am looking forward to returning for a week of skiing at Mount Saint Anne, and I will definitley book with the Hotel Val Des Neiges! Worth every penny-even without the view of the mountain. Also there is a liquor store/gas station, and restaurant located right beside the hotel. Don't forget your swimsuits and flip flops:)

you get more that you pay!! we say stay for 3 nights in july for the first time and we are very satiffised with the hotel, the place is very clean and is more like a 4 stars hotel, we have everything that you need, and the place around is just wonderful, we highly recommended it.

“comfortable accomodation”

Cute hotel just a short drive outside Quebec City. Comfortable room, great summer rates, since it is primarily a ski lodge. Fully bilingual reception. We enjoyed it!

Cozy and romantic a perfect place for couples. Far enough to have some private corner, close enough to all attractions in town.

Kind happy to stay in there. The A/C is kind old and takes time to figure out how to adjust but it works.
