“Need to speak a little English”

This hotel had a comfortable rooms, well decorated corridors and lobby, and an ample breakfast. However the staff at reception spoke NO English. I don't expect fluency in a foreign country but I know that in Germany most people speak a little English. Apparently this was not so for the staff of this hotel. I hope they will correct this problem.
