“A liitle gem close to all that this wonderful city has to offer”

Lovely little family run hotel. Although lacking in facilities made up by lovely staff, situation and "feeling" of a 15th century house. A liitle gem!

“Good Hotel with respect to comfort”

The hotel is easy to locate and the instructions given to reach hotel was pretty easy. Staff is helpful. They try to help but little understanding of english is a problem.

“Great place to stay”

This was a great hotel, located in a very convenient area, but still tucked away from all the tourist traps. The rooms were huge, the staff members were very friendly and the area was quiet. We loved it here and would absolutely return.

“An Island of Quiet in Venice”

The Hotel Ca Bauta is something between a hotel and private accomodation. It is set back from the area around the main hospital in Venice close to the northern shoreline of the Fundamentale Nouve. It is very, very quiet, and ideal for couples who need to be alone. The attention to detail makes it a great place to stay.

“Awesome Hotel in a Great location”

This is a surpurb hotel in a great location. The Castello region it sits in is an trove of lovely restaurants and bars and many beautiful squares & buildings. It is also less than 10min walk from San Marco sq and from the Rialto Bridge. The hotel itself is very well kept, lovely rooms and friendly staff. The only thing I could mention as a negative is that the TV only has Italian channels - although there is so much to do and see that it would have only been used as backround when getting ready to go out!

“The hotel was hard to find (as are most places in Venice) but the young lady on duty...”

The hotel was hard to find (as are most places in Venice) but the young lady on duty the evening of our arrival 4 JUL 08 was extremely helpful in explaining the water taxi system to us.Hotel is in a very quiet part of Venice. Very nice only a bit hard to find.Also, I suppose due to our trouble finding the hotel, we were given an upgrade to a Suite.
