“If you need a roof, bring your own sheets”

We had a problem with our original reservations and ended up at the Budget Inn by waiting until a week before the Indianapolis 400. Someone was asking for their money back when we drove up. We brought our own sheets after reading Expedia reviews, and I was thankful. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and the walkway outside the door is not structurally sound. Everything smells. Would not stay here with children. Ok for a desperate weekend if you plan to see the town.

“So-so”

Even considering that it was "Race Weekend", this room was simply overpriced. There was nothing that jumped out at me as wrong, with the exception of the dried boogers on the wall and the hair in the shower. The TV had a broken power button and no remote, but the bed was adequate, the AC was cold, and the floor was clean. I didn't hear a bunch of noise from people on the walkways, but I also didn't leave ANYthing in my car.

“just the basics”

At first, I was almost scared to stay here, but it turned out alright. The shower was the best part of the stay. The sheets had cigarette burns in them, but were clean. There was a microwave and a little fridge. The TV was nice.

“It was an experience.”

First of all we asked for 2 double beds but we offered 1 king bed. After we solved the problem. Room key did not work. All of us had to share one key card. Room was humid and sticky. Anyway I guess we had one good thing. We had a polace to stay.

“Couldn't sleep all night”

Room was broken down. Tiles in bathroom came up when you walked on them. Couldn't take a bath..had to stuff a rag in the tub, no drain stopper. Bed uncomfortable. TV entertainment center was falling off on the side. Noisy. Smelled smokey and we asked for non-smoking room. Honestly, afraid to sleep at night..neither my husband or I slept much at all. Only two towels and wash rags and sink area stained up. Definitely was not worth the money.

“Terrible place to stay”

Door lock wouldn't work. Replaced it and it still didn't work. Moved me to a different room. Sheets had cigarette burn holes in them.
