“Nice room”

Everything was fine. It was no where near as bad as the other reviews. I enjoyed the stay, the room was clean, the cable and tv were great, it was quiet around the area, I really enjoyed myself. I've been at hotels that were dumps, I mean they stank of smoke etc. This room was great especially for the low price. My only complaint was that the insulation between my room and next door wasn't great, I could almost hear the people next door.

“Excellent value!!”

While my son's MENSA convention was going on at the Hyatt which sold out month's prior to the convention, we enjoyed our spacious room with vaulted ceilings, refrigerator, and microwave at the Howard Johnson. The 10 minute drive to and from the convention each day was quite easy to do, no traffic to speak of. The people behind the desk were quite helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

the weekend went by so fast,you know when you spend time with loved ones it always does.We ran our selves ragged that weekend and it was so refreshing to know that at the end of the day I had such a wonderfull place to go to.

“Close, comfortable and convenient”

The hotel is easy to get to - just off Interstate 94. Free shuttle service to and from the airport. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Personnel were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Park and fly rates were reasonable. Limited but certainly adequate breakfast was included. Will stay here again.

For convenient airport access and price I found Howard Johnson's very acceptable and would recommend to others.

“Convenient Location to Airport”

This hotel is clean, close to the airport, and provides excellent customer service. It also provides a locked compound area for your vehicle for one week, and a quick, convenient shuttle to the airport. They also pick you up upon your return. Another great thing about this hotel is that it has three really good restaurants at the front of the hotel (1 sit down, 2 fast food). I recommend the Lebanesse restaurant. The only drawback is that you have airplanes flying over you every 3 minutes, but hey, what do expect when you stay that close to an international airport.

For the price, it was satisfactory, but not above-and-beyond. Very convenient though.

“Stay, Park and Fly”

It was a good place to spend the night before an early morning departure from Detroit Metro airport. The rooms were clean and quiet. The desk staff was courteous. I got a good night's sleep. The free week long parking that was included in the package made it a very economical night's stay. The continental breakfast was the only disappointment.
