My only gripe is the shocking price of parking but that is Cambridge City Centre so ….otherwise I’ve stayed here a couple of times and it’s convenient and pleasant

Convenient and friendly staff, breakfast was good but the bedroom aircon wasn’t working & the bath was a dribble. As it was the weekend no maintenance staff to fix.

Very convenient location in a walking distance to downtown and colleges. A fee minute walk to nice restaurants and shopping. Very Nice and clean. It was a great stay with my family of two kids.

Hotel du vin in Cambridge was perfectly nice. A few hiccups in my attic room, tattobger: mould in the bathroom above the shower. Peeling paint in the bathroom. And most disappointing is the decision to exclude so called ‘classic’ rooms from any of the usual lovely HDV snacks and drinks available in the mini-bar. Since you have to pay for three anyway, what aren’t they there?

great service, friendly staff, awesome location
We needed a place to stay for a Saturday night in Cambridge city centre and are so glad we chose the Hilton. Valet parking was great, no delay on arrival or departure and a decent price for 24 hours. Check in was easy and the lady that checked us in was super friendly. Our room was ready early which was a real bonus. Room was clean with a good size comfortable bed. Bathroom was modern with good amenities.

Arrived in my room. My kettle didn’t work. Tried ALL THE ‘phone number on the speed dial — NONE of them answered. Went downstairs to reception, they said they would send someone straight away. 25 minutes later someone arrived with a kettle — which also didn’t work! He finally returned 10 minutes later with one that did. And the safe was locked shut, unable to use. And NO. Alert parking, as promised. Chaps in the piano bar were nice, that’s all I can say.

The stay was great. However, there was a charge for which I requested to see the receipt and to review the charge accordingly. I made the request over the phone, as I realized after I had left (on a hurry unfortunately) and I was already on the train. I am still awaiting the promised review and response.

This property is in a perfect location for all amenities in Cambridge. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very courteous and helpful and the dining experience is great.

Excellent hotel, right in the heart of the city. Immediately next to a large shopping centre, only 30 seconds from the market square, and walkable to all the sights. Our room was large and comfortable, with a lovely bed, large screen TV, big bathroom, and all the amenities you would expect. Will happily stay here in future (NOTE: if you're going to a gig at the Corn Exchange, this is a lovely place to stay, only about 100 metres from the venue).
