The staff was absolutely phenomenal. They were all so kind and willing to help. The beds were comfy, but the pillows were awful. They had a basic breakfast and they had soup at night. We really like the hotel and had a great stay.

So very welcoming
The lady at the desk was the loveliest woman, she gave me such a warm and genuine welcome. You can tell that she enjoys her job and that makes a difference.

I was safe at the room. I was slightly unnerved by having to park towards the rear of the building and it was not in view of the street, but had another building closer to the road. I did not feel entirely safe walking back from my vehicle as a single female. All was ok, but I wish the parking was in view of anyone that could see if someone had a safety issue. there were large trucks in the front parked horizontally taking the front of the building spaces.

Great service
Stayed two nights. Quite impressed. Great staff/service. Biggest surprise was available free food. In addition to breakfast, there were cookies on arrival, hot and iced coffee bar at all hours, and hot soup in the afternoon.

Parking is a bit congested. Breakfast options do not work well for vegetarians/vegans. Was changed an "Amenities fee" (USD 8.00 per night) that was not mentioned anywhere before while booking. Staff was generally cordial and efficient.

Expected much better for the price
For $300+ a night we expected a much cleaner, more comfortable room. Water pressure was awful, hotel was dated and had a bad odor, bed was uncomfortable. Very disappointing. I would not stay here again.

I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your stay. I am surprised to hear that you felt the hotel was dated as we underwent a full renovation just a few years ago. I will look into the water pressure issue as well as the odor issue so thank you for letting me know about them.
