“Embassy Suites for a quiet time”

The Embassy Suites hotel is an excellent hotel to get away a couple of days from the big city noise and stress. The hotel is located in a very quite area and you can relax either at the pool park or their private beach. The rooms are in top condition and very clean. Their staff is very friendly and professional. The shuttle to and from beach can be called any time and takes about 2 mins to bring you or pick you up at the beach. For the fans of cigars, smoking is allowed in the center lounge and every day there is a manager's cocktail hour with free drinks from 17:30 till 19:00. The center lounge/bar has also a free wifi hotspot The private beach is kept clean under the water as well as above the water, with the Beach sellers kept away by the security staff. The restaurant at the beach has excellent freshly home-made pizza, but the other meals especially the fish is not good This Hotel is definetely recommended if your are looking for a quiet place, if you are looking for nightlife, disco, etc you may may to go to Boca Chica or so. I would not hesitate to go there again

Overall, I was satisfied with Embassy Suites. For the price you pay, I can honestly say I can't complian. I don't think the pictures give it justice becuase it was beautiful. The one thing I feel they need improvement on is the cleanliness of the rooms, room service could do a way better job. But all in all, I had a great stay.

This was my first trip to the Dominican Republic. Juan Dolio is a town in between the bigger city. It is not country and it is not city. I didn't get to their beach, they say their is a private beach so I can't comment on that. I spent most of my time at the pool and it was great! I didn't go golfing and the golf course is right there and for $45.00 US you can play a round of golf. I did find a good local restaurant down Hemingway called El Con-Con, it is worth the trip the food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The property house villas that are beautiful and there is 24 hour security. The casinos near by are OK, they are something to do, but they don't play Vegas rules. there was no craps and roulette which I like is run kind of funky with people collecting bets and making bets before the marker is removed. But hey it's the D.R. Don't fret you'll enjoy the sun and can make a romantic time out of anything you do. My girlfriend and I had many romantic moments. Enjoy!!

“Was better then I expected!”

I thought this hotel was beautiful and everyone was very nice and professional. My husband and I only stayed a couple of days but I imagine that if we played golf, we would have been even happier.
