“Only Okay”

Rooms were adequate and staff helpful. Only valet parking and no restaurant in hotel.

“Basic, very clean, excellent location”

Entrance to this hotel does not seem very promising: narrow, worn carpets, a little crowded. However, Sheraton has an identical standard everywhere: rooms are very clean, well kept, with very comfortable beds (a must for any world traveller). Service is good, location is perfect for a most enjoyable city. Good, cheap breakfast at the adjacent coffee shop, better than inside the hotel. Overall, good value for money.

“Centrally located”

Great location, close but not too close to St. Catherine, walking distance to Place des Arts. Chez Cora's a few blocks away. The bed was very comfortable, although the room was smaller than expected. My only true complaint is that the restaurant is not open through the day, only at specified eating times.

“Comfortable, Worn, But Good Location”

Stayed 3 nights in April 06. Nice big rooms, lots of amenities. Windows were caked with winter dirt, though, which spoiled the city view. Breakfast buffet was ok, but in Montreal there are many better options. One significant problem: free wireless internet was great, but it often stopped working, sometimes for hours.

“Not impressed.”

The hotel put me in a handicap room. Also, it turned out the hotel was being picketed. Each morning, guests were woken up by chanting and bad, techno-pop music from union members.

“OK if you get a good deal.”

The hotel is good for the price. Expect to have rowdy university students on weekends. The shower broke but was fixed quickly. Pretty basic hotel, but worth it for the price.
