I liked the location of this hotel (close to underground stations and dining options) as well as the room size (comfortable for my three person family) & amenities (clean bathroom, breakfast included, hotel bar). The staff were professional and helpful.

The breakfasts are very bland and could really do with improving . Not much in hot cooked section for vegetarians Habibeh was really good at Reception and helped so much with my request. Well done to her. 👍 Great location to get to to the river and its footpaths

Not only was it comfortable to stay in, but it is also in a great location with many shops nearby and an Underground station close by which could take you to many sights in London. Would definitely recommend!

Only stay at this hotel if you're absolutely desperate... and even then, think twice. I was under the impression that Holiday Express offered a modest, reasonably inexpensive place to lay your head. I found out soon enough I was wrong. I had opted for this choice for a work trip. The lobby is the only thing halfway decent about the place. As soon as you enter the lift, you're greeted by grime and filth. The stench of the corridor and the dirt deep trodden into the carpet is the first thing you see as you make your way to your room. The room itself is an eyesore, scuffed walls and brown muck wedged into the crevices of the bathroom. i should mention that drug abusers swarm the corner of the hotel late into the night. I think the most frustrating thing about my stay was getting my takeaway stolen by staff. Due to poor signal in rooms, the call didn't come through so reception staff decided to gobble my meal instead. When I complained, they did attempt to investigate it. I was told that a staff member did accept the delivery but it magically disappeared of course. They offered me a glass of wine to save face (with thanks to the night manager who tried to get to the bottom of it). In summary, don't stay at this hotel. Save yourself the money and hassle - look elsewhere.

Thos probably was excited five minutes walk from the underground, nextdoor to a weather soon, pub friendly staff great location . Lot's of good shops just around the corner. Eg Bots and saver's. Great place to stay good value for money.

The staff was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. We arrived early and was exhausted from our 8 hours flight and 5 hours difference. However, Willy ( I think that was his name) went to work on getting our rooms ready so we could check-in early to get some redt.

I never leave bad reviews but the price of this hotel does not reflect the quality of the room at all. Bed was equivalent to what I assume the Flintstones slept on, the hallways smelled of cigarettes and the room heating took forever to work. It wasn’t a dirty room nor hotel but it was difficult to get to sleep with the rail right outside followed by a concrete slab of a bed!

Clean comfortable room. Breakfast buffet was busy but this was expected. Liked the opportunity to access a hot drink anytime and complimentary late checkout as a IHG member. Staff could have been more welcoming. We were asked to leave the table at the end of breakfast and were not thanked for our stay etc. on departure.

Warm welcome and Comfortable Stay
Always a warm welcome at this Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great location with good local shops, walks along the Thames and some lovely restaurants nearby. Easy to get into central London. Good parking too.

Holiday ruined !
The hotel staff were lovely. Breakfast isn’t great, eggs are tasteless, orange juice watery and croissants burnt. Hotel very noisy most mornings. Car park very small. We also got our car broken into, passenger window all smashed in and 2 coats stolen from the back seat, we were told 2 days after it happened which is very poor when they had our contact details so could have phoned us or left a note under our room door ! We ended up leaving a day early due to this happening as we didn’t feel safe and didn’t feel happy leaving the car. Safe to say we won’t be returning to London again as this ruined our little holiday away !!
