Staff nice. Room very large. Lived aircon. In great need of repair and updating. Shower had just a curtain and all water came out onto floor. No shelves in bathroom. Position of hotel not great

Really impressed, alot better than the photos online, thought we were sharing a king bed but actually got a double and single for same price, my son was given a free breakfast because he was little, staff were lovely! I was pleasantly surprised as it was so cheap, it's not luxury but it was cheap, clean and friendly... Perfect value for money!! We will stay again for sure 😊

Very good basic hotel. Clean and quite.
Good basic hotel. Very clean white bedding and towels. Great fast check in. Easy walk into town. Room smelled of smoke a little. Aircon very good. Very quiet room. Perfect for early flight at Barcelona airport the next morning.

Good, clean and easy to access from motorway.
Externally there is no space outside other than the car park (no charge). However, for dog owners there is ample grass opposite. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Not as basic as some basic hotels. Room size good with bedside tables and lights on each side of bed. Petrol station cafe next door does reasonable food and pleasant atmosphere. Cannot comment on hotel breakfast as do not eat breakfast. Easy access to and from motorway. Reception staff helped us by printing a document. Would happily stay here again.

"basic" describes it well.
Not a bad place to overnight while passing through. It was clean and quiet enough with the window shut even though it was close to the highway. No complaints!

What is says on the tin
Just wanted a clean, cheap stopover where I could park a large vehicle, the hotel was exactly that, parked the vehicle outside on the road next to the hotel.

My daughter and I had a lovely time at Basic Hotel
I can say that Basic Hotel is great value for money. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The only down side is that it's in an industrial area but not far from town. It actually is walking distance but it is an hour train journey to Barcelona. There is plenty to explore locally and the staff at Basic will give all the information you need. I do recommend Basic Hotel.

Hidden gem!
Due to a traffic jam in Barcelona, we were unable to make our reservation at another hotel a couple hours away. Being nearly midnight, we were fully expecting to sleep in the car as we didn't want to spend a lot on another room. Found Hotel Basic online and went in with low expectations. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and understanding of our mediocre Spanish. After getting to the room, we found it clean, spacious, and the bed was more comfortable than some 4* hotels we've stayed at on our trip. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good cheap hotel for a couple nights.

If you need to be in an inexpensive room near a highway outsiide of Barcelona and don't mind being adjacent to an industrial park, this is for you. Basic sums it up pretty well.

Not worth your money
This hotel was very basic, just like the name of the hotel - Basic Hotel. It reeked of smoke and the rooms were very subpar. The interior of our room was run down, with the curtains containing holes that one could see in the daylight. While it was priced very economically, it was not worth the money we spent. The breakfast was the only good point of our experience. It was good.

A great hotel, just don't trust google maps!
What a novel idea: a clean, modern, simple hotel. A comfortable bed, all the basics you need for a night or two or even more. Breakfast is great, the staff are friendly and welcoming. And at a reasonable price, too. Highly recommended. Just don't follow the directions on google maps, they think the hotel is in the village of Olèrdola, and google maps block any effort to report this serious error.

non c'è niente per pulire il cessò e i recepciónisti sembrano appena usciti di casa per avere un'informazione forse devi pagarli perché non parlano o addirittura assenti! per 7 euro mi aspetto una colazione intercontinentale a buffet come scritto non cibo impacchettato e prodotti da supermercato, niente di fresco, uno dei peggiori hotel visti di sempre. da evitare per lo stesso prezzo potete avere un servizio superiore a sitges o Barcellona

Ok basic
Lukten the name it's Basic, but I liked it very much, close to shops and gas station, perfect for a sleep along the way, only thing was the cleaning of the room, long black hair in bed on floor and bathroom, check-in staff very nice, private parking to!
