Great Location with A+ Staff!
Room was far smaller than what was pictured and my room was facing a brick wall would be the only negative. Staff was excellent with restaurant and transportation suggestions, super friendly as well. Love how quiet the hotel was despite being close to Pombal main train station. Breakfast had a really nice variety of hot and cold options. Good option for solo traveler.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location Next to a subway stop. Also, next to Avenida Libertad the big shopping avenue. The rooms are not the biggest, but the hotel is very clean.

The hotel was close to the airport and nearby Avenida da Liberdade. Very walkable location to everywhere in Lisbon. Breakfast is delicious! The room spacious and super clean. Room service fast and the staff is very professional and helpful. Loved staying there!

Great find
Well located only 5 mins from Metro station. Able to leave luggage securely prior to check in and day of departure for late evening flight. Staff, friendly and courteous. Good breakfast, hot offering, eggs, bacon and sausage were a bit tasteless, lovely fresh fruit and plenty of pastries bread and cereals to choose from. Room was great for a family, twin beds in one room and a single in the other room. Free safe and plenty of storage. Sadly no free water had to pay 2.50 euros for the one provided in the room - a bit steep given the price paid for the room. Bathroom very dated, needs modernising, shower over a tiny bath and a bidet! Who still uses them? Would stay again as felt safe in the surrounding area.

Lovely hotel worth staying at!
I really enjoyed this hotel it’s super easy to get to from the airport and it’s very close to the main sights especially Comercio Square aka Praca do Comercio. I was so please with the hotel that I’d strongly say it’s one of the best and a real bargain for the price.

Lovely hotel with really good breakfast Unfortunately there was a construction site next door which made noise from 8am each morning. Only complaint was it stated there was a bar in the hotel which was completely untrue . Counter with 6 bottles and a fridge with a few bottles of beer isint a bar . Otherwise I would recommend this hotel

We stayed at the “Dom Carlos Park” for four nights in October. It is probably an older building that was updated with all amenities, elevator, WiFi and fridge in room. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was fully functional. As is the custom lately there is only soap, no shampoo, so bring some. The hotel is two minutes from a major subway station and also walkable distance from the river and many destinations. Still, a daily public transportation pass is useful; at a cost of Euro 6.50/24 hours, it allows using all subways, buses, most local trains and some ferry service and lifts. Do not just buy online, buy at the subway station (Metro) as it anyhow needs to be enabled at a kiosk (no App that we could use). Parking is available for drop-off and pick-up, but the front desk staff was very unfriendly about using those spots. Expedia offered a complimentary drink for the stay, which we appreciated. The hotel put out a bottle of flat water for a cost, which we find less than appropriate for this level of hotel. Building projects are everywhere, but right now they are on both sides of the hotel; the workers seem to respect working hours (8 AM – 5 PM), so we only had some noise during breakfast. There are supermarkets near-by, but there are also many excellent eateries for all tastes and budgets.

Hotel seems very outdated and has very limited amenities such as waiting/lounge room and on proper kitchen which I thought it was odd, their room service is actually a delivery from a small place who serves hotels. It was okay for my one night prior to returning home and I believe I did overpay for it since it was las time booking, my mistake . Staff was friendly and helpful though, that was nice.

The overall stay was nice. But some things were not clear, I wasn't sure whether the breakfast was included with my stay until the end, coffee wasn't free but the breakfast was and that was confusing. Also a very loud construction site wad next door that we weren't prepared for.

The location is ok but thats pretty much it. The shower had previous guests hair. Wc was really small. The had a general odor that felt like old and dusty.

Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but it was fairly small for just one person. In addition there weren’t a lot of amenities, construction next door woke me up, and the breakfast could have more options. Friendly and helpful staff.

Pleasant stay, but!
We had a mixed feelings in our stay at the Dom Carlos Park Hotel. The bed that was a way too hard, and even then we requested a King size bed, the largest bed they had was a full size. Maybe it was advertised wrong. There is also a construction site next to it, that starts making a little noise early in the morning. The area is also a little far from downtown Lisbon, but there is taxis and Uber cars everywhere making it easy and cheap to reach most areas of interest. Enjoy Lisbon.
