“Enjoyable stay”

Location very good,nice room and breakfasts excellent.Staff friendly and helpful. We were in a room near the lifts but didn't experience any problems with noise.

“GREAT STAY”

Very convenient in the heart of the city. Only 50 metres to the shopping malls and an easy walk to most of the city attractions. We had a very spacious room with mini-fridge and tea/coffee. Bathroom was spacious and well equipped. TV had the usual NZ channels. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. We had one meal in the hotel restaurant and very much enjoyed it. Two of our party had specific dietry needs and these were no problem for the knowledgable staff. Our car was parked for us at only $15/day and was always available to us within minutes of requesting it. The guest laundry was inexpensive and easy to use. All staff members were friendly and very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay!

“Cream of the Crop in the heart of Christchurch's City Center”

We had a wonderful experience in every aspect! The staff of the Grand Chancellor Christchurch is fabulous - they are extremely friendly, offer great advice, and are clearly dedicated to providing excellent service to their guests. We were very impressed from arrival to departure and highly recommend booking your Christchurch stay here...undoubtly, we will return when in Christchurch again!

Located 3 blocks from Cathedral Square; this elegant old hotel was perfect in size, price, and location. The rooms were large. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, particularly in recommending local eateries.

Good clean rooms and spacious. Reception check in and check out well serviced. Would go back and stay there. Staff well mannered and helpful.

“Good location but a hint for parking”

Everything inside the hotel was great. Our only issue was the parking -----you had to pay top dollar. We learned on our second day that if you arrive after 5pm and leave before 10am it is only $5.

Rooms need to updated, but overall clean hotel and very helpful staff.
