Lovely overnight in Queretaro
Spent a lovely night at Hotel Quinta Lucca on our way to do some business in San Miguel de Allende. The room was spotless, the hotel staff did not speak English but we were able to get past that and they were very helpful will holding our luggage for us before we left in the afternoon. The location is in the Centro and we had a lovely time walking around and getting this small snippet of the city. The hotel is charming and has lots of nice artwork and foliage. We didn't eat the breakfast but it looked nice.

Nice location and pretty landscaping. Offered an excellent tour in downtown. It was clean, however there were roaches. The breakfast is tiny.

Nice hotel close to the historic area, free parking is really great not too far from the hotel. Room # 1 is quite noisy during the night from the street. Small continental breakfast but with extra $ it is possible to have a traditional Mexican meals.

Quick stay
Visiting a girlfriend in her local city. According to her it had very traditional architecture for the downtown historic area with raised ceilings. Lots of TV channels. Furniture inside room was nice and not like a chain hotel. No AC but room stayed cool. Felt comfortable leaving the door to my room open when there and could enjoy the table and courtyard they had outside the room. Don't expect to check in before 2 pm but they held my bags since we got there at about 10:30 am.

Colonial style hotel in the middle of everything
Super clean hotel at a great location. Very attentive staff. Two things that bothered me: (1) The hotel has a big ironwork door that is kept locked. The front desk buzzes people in *and* out. This is to prevent would-be thieves from entering the facility. On the first day I did not think much of it, but on the second day we were coming back to the hotel in the middle of the day and there was no one at the front desk. There is a bell to ring, so we rang it, for a long time. When the front desk lady came to the door, she said that when no one is at the front door, the door is padlocked. She unlocked it with a key she had on her. First, this made us realize that if we had been inside, we would be locked in. In an emergency, there would be no way to get out fast. Second, it is really unpleasant to have to wait several minutes in the Queretaro heat to get back into the room. (2) The cleaning staff go out of their way in ways that are weird. The shampoo that I brought from home cracked slightly, so I left it upside down. When I got in the shower the next morning, I notice that they had straightened it. The result is that the shampoo leaked. Over 24 hours, it was all gone. Same with my stuff on the sink counter- it got moved around and organized in ways that were not necessary and even a bit creepy. I was a single adult in a 2-bedroom room, so I put my carry-on on the second bed. The carry-on got moved to the closet, for which they moved my clothes on hangers, to make room for it.

Lovely hotel.
This hotel is quiet, comfortable and really pretty. We wished we had more than one night to stay. It's nicely located and the courtyard is really attractive.

LOVELY HOTEL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY
Everything about this hotel was wonderful, The room was clean and attractive. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, with a fresh fruit plate or other custom choices, if requested. There was lots of hot water for showers. The only thing travelers need to know is that when it gets cool at night (40 degrees or cooler) the rooms will be cold because there are no heaters. Even with 2 blankets provided, I was still a bit cold because the room was cold. This is because the material used to build the hotel does not hold the warmth of the day, I would recommend this hotel.

we stayed there for Holly week festivities, as we wanted to be in the heart of the historic center. This hotel has a great location for the price, you cannot beat that. Walk 5 minutes and be in the main area of the historic center. The staff was very welcoming, super helpful when asked about places to eat, how to get to certain places, museums, and the festivities itself... it was a great experience overall, and as I said, you cannot beat the price in the location, while the beds are not the most comfortable, as I only used the hotel to crash after a whole day of walking around and going to the "pueblos" near Queretaro, this hotel was all that I needed. Fresh fruit and pastries every morning 3 options of cereal free for a quick start, is all what I needed to get going...

Excellent hotel in the centre of Queretaro
Hotel Quinta Lucca is a very nice hotel with woderful staff. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating in terms of comfort was because the room was quite cold at night. However, this is not the fault of the hotel; Queretaro can be quite chilly in the evenings, and because most places in Mexico do not have central heating it can feel cold. The hotel does provide extra blankets if needed, so once in bed there is no problem with the temperature.

Internet ad led me to believe it was much larger and sophisticated. But still very nice, and secure. It was very clean, the clerk friendly and helpful (although she spoke little English). Great location down town in historic centro. I'd stay there again. Great breakfast provided in room rate..

It was my 3rd time at Quinta Lucca in 3 years. They keep the property up very well and made a nice improvement to the patio outside. Love the location, rooms, shower, coffee in the room, free breakfast. It is exactly what I need and what a great price!!!

People are nice Like that it's small Everything I need... Coffee and complementary h2o Clean Good shower, products, hairdryer, good bedding and pillows. We have stayed there 15 nights in 3 years and it's consistently excellent. The Price is rediculously inexpensive. We'll be back!

The beds are hard and the pillows could be better. Other then that they are helpful and the hotel is quaint and quite. That was great.Everything is around you and all in walking distance. Restaurants, shopping, and museums. Family enjoyed it.

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of Down Town Qro.Q
This was my second time staying at this hotel this year, I came back because I had a very good experience the first time. The hotel is really nice and reasonably priced. I love the fact that it's located in the heart of Down Town Queretaro and you are able to take walks any time of the day or night and enjoy its gorgeous colonial architecture. The staff was really friendly except for a couple of the women at the reception who were rude and unfriendly to me, this is the reason I gave it a 4 under hotel staff. The rooms were very clean and they are very good size. I highly recommend this hotel, I plan to stay there again in future trips to Queretaro.

Fresh cut papaya for breakfast
Think about what a "complimentary continental breakfast" means in similarly prices places in the states versus a plate of papaya, cantaloupe, apple and banana, fresh squeezed orange juice, pan dulce and cereals to choose from. There are egg dishes, made to order, for an additional cost, which were delicious. If you prefer to economize the gorditas place across the street will fill you up with exquisite thick corn cakes and fillings of your choosing. People who love a hard mattress will love the beds. If you have sore joints like I do, ta fluffy towel from the well supplied bathroom cushions the spot. The bath amenities have a fresh natural fragrance, none of the cheap sneeze inducing stuff often encountered in mid-priced place. Lovely staff, eager to be of service. The only thing that troubled me is the the impossibility of opening the front exit without assistance from a staffer. God forbid there should be a fire....

Beautiful Hotel right in the heart of gorgeous downtown Queretaro! Excellent price and location! I highly recommend it. The expedia price included continental breakfast. Vey comfortable beds and really nice rooms. The staff was super friendly. I will definitely stay there again the next time I go.

Small hotel in the historic area
The location of this hotel makes exploration of Queretaro easy. The hotel itself is small, but comfortable. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are small and Spartan, but are kept very clean. The free breakfast is simple, but was more than enough for us. The hotel also provides free parking, which is a must if you have a car. If you are only staying in Queretaro for 1-2 days and not venturing into the countryside, don't rent a car. The streets of the city are narrow and crowded. Driving is not fun.

Just a couple of days stay
Clean and tidy. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. There is not noise insulation between floors so if you stay in the ground floor you will hear the steps from the first floor guests. Happy to be back but I will request a first floor room.
