This place is in the heart of the action. We had a view of the piazza and the cathedral. It was walking distance from everything we wanted to do. I would definitely recommend it.

Hotel Rosso 23 is in an excellent location, very close to the main train station (the Santa Maria Novella Station). I was traveling by myself and chose this hotel for its location and its high rating. It was easy for me to walk to many local tourist destinations; most are within 15 minutes of walking. My room was quite small -- it fit a full size bed and one night stand with some room at the foot of the bed to accommodate the entry door and the built in closet. The bathroom and its shower are also very small, but maybe it's because I'm used to larger bathrooms in American hotels. I didn't mind the small room and bathroom, but I couldn't imagine staying with another person in this room. The breakfast is excellent...the food is varied and delicious; I enjoyed the fresh fruit, yogurt, deli meats/cheeses, pastries, juices, scrambled eggs, sausage, and a decaf latte each morning, which was a huge time saver. I also saved money since I didn't have to buy breakfast each morning. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again should I return to Florence.

This was a beautiful hotel in a prime location. We were only steps away from the train station and all the best sites including the Duomo, Museo Academia, the leather market, Ponte Vecchio and more. The building was stunning with a grand lobby and stunning rooms. The staff was wonderful, friendly and extremely accommodating and helpful. We had an amazing time and wont stay anywhere else whenever we go to Florence from now on.

Great overall property. The only thing I would didn’t like was the size of the shower. It was so small. Perhaps 3 feet by 3 ft.

This is a very nice/ clean property less than 5 minutes of the train station and extremely close to most touristic attractions as well. There are lots of dining and shopping areas around the hotel. I’d definitely stay there again and highlight recommend it to others.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful with suggestions and assistance. The room was very clean. The location is wonderful-a quick walk from the train station and easy walking anywhere else in Florence.

Excellent hotel and great location. Close to everything. This should be a 5 star hotel with the staff service and the cleanliness of the entire hotel. The only thing I can complain about is the shower that was very tiny and right next to the toilet so when you showered everything got wet. The staff were wonderful in all areas and the breakfast was outstanding. Loved this hotel. Will definitely stay here again. Outstanding customer service ❤️

Amazing location, great property! The check in process was smooth, the staff was real nice - offered to get our luggage up for us. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying with a pretty generous spread. The rooms were spacious, high ceilings and interesting interior decor. The bed/bedding was comfortable and cozy. The water pressure in the showers was awesome! All in all, I definitely recommend.

This hotel is literally a hop skip & jump from the train station, sights, restaurants right out the door as it's on the Piazza. Beautiful lobby and shared sitting area that we spent time in as our room was quite small but had everything you need for your stay. And surprisingly very quiet!

I Love Italy!
The front desk service was excellent, breakfast was delicious, the room was impeccable, and the location -- near Santa Maria Novella and eight minutes on foot from the Duomo -- was terrific. My only recommendations are to increase the light in the lobby and rooms and remove the superhero statues.

I booked Hotel Russo 23 for one night as I was doing a quick visit to Florence to attend my cousin’s wedding and the meeting point for us was in the same square. It turned out to be a great choice and I’d definitely stay there again! Really friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming, super clean hotel. I booked a single room which was very spacious with a double bed. The staff knew I was attending a wedding and helped me with an early check-in, ensured I got seen to promptly when I asked for an iron, and we’re just all around great. It’s a convenient location too - 4 mins to the train station, and 5 mins to all central historical spots. Thanks for a great stay!

The location of this hotel is fantastic! The staff are very kind and helpful. The size of our room and bathroom were so small, especially the shower. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the cappuccino was super delicious. Overall, a great stay.

This was a nice little hotel located right in the courtyard. The Hotel was clean, and the staff are very friendly. Our room was a little smaller than expected, but we still made it work. Breakfast was good. The ambiance is a little different with low dim lighting in action figures located throughout the hotel. Overall a good stay.

Hotel Rosso 23, 5-star location This Hotel location is 2nd to none, located next to the “S Maria Novella square” a lively area to have home base. Many restaurants, cafes, town squares, shops and historic buildings are within walking distance. Stroll along the river, cross the bridges, and see Florence from a different perspective. The hotel is clean with a fun design to maneuver, staff is pleasant and helpful, our room “215” is a good size and the breakfast is excellent. We would recommend a stay at this hotel and would definitely return.
