The room wasn’t in good condition. The beds did not look clean. Some of the lights didn’t work and the heater took about 5 hours to heat up. We had to sleep with our coats over us because the room was so cold.

I loved how nice and welcoming the staff was. Very helpful. The shower didn’t work that was probably the only thing I found wrong with my room other than that it was good for a quick stay

Have always loved Howard Johnson's, they are getting pretty scarce. This one is a little worn around the edges, but still very comfortable and clean. Still love HoJo's!

Beyond EXCELLENT Front desk service
The front desk attendant, Kelly, was beyond helpful & kind. He even stayed later to make sure we were checked in & accommodated. I’m truly grateful for the manager & Kelly’s excellent customer service. He did mention the hotel was going through some updates. Our room was just ok. The backside is so loud next to the freeway. After a long drive it was hard to rest. Location was easy to access. Just follow the signs lol

Not amazing. We arrived late do to a necessary long day. The bottom sheet wasn’t clean so we slept on the top sheet. The floor was dirty. The phone didn’t work and was filthy. Our food froze in the refrigerator. We were not happy!

I had to clean the room so we could stay in it and I was charged a $50 incidental. Please! This place is a mess! We should have left but we were running behind and had already made the reservation. Ridiculous

Howard Johnsons at this location is definitely losing the value challenge. The office is run by an unfriendly lady taking advantage of travelers using this app because they know you can’t cancel and be refunded. The whole backside has a nauseating reek of diesel fuel. The sink was broken and they don’t offer as much as a cup of coffee although still charging full price. In the end, avoid this place and you’ll be far better off. Personally, I think sleeping in the car would have been better and much cheaper.

Don't stay here. They charge you for using their towels. They charged me 49.00 for them and refused to give me the towels I paid for. These were normal wear and tear.

Arrived late after getting lost and found check in desk closed (due to covid restrictions, however i was not made aware of this change prior to arrival. Room cleanliness is subpar. The carpet had not been vacuumed and several walls and other surfaces were visibly dirty. This is especially egregious during the covid pandemic.

We didn’t stay. They had bed bugs, the furniture handles were sticky, there were multiple rooms with caution tape or ply wood windows, and the maintenance guy ear blowing leaves and debris at 930 pm.

When we tried to check in, they stated they didnt have any smoking rooms available when that is what we paid for. I asked for a room on the ground floor and they stated they didnt have any available. I asked for a hideaway bed and they stated they didnt offer them even though it says they do. WORST HOTEL EVER

Cheap, old, noisy and needs lots of maintenance.
needs some attention, i took lots of pictures of the room, in case they decided to charge us for "damage". needs updating. Also, pool was closed, and no breakfast as advertised (due to COVID). Printer didn't work, so couldn't get a printed receipt, and the woman at check-in was annoyed that I asked for a handwritten copy to match the handwritten copy she got to keep with my signature. She also made rude comments about pets, even after I told her the dog that had come with me (that wasn't staying at the hotel with my daughters) would be in the room while checking the kids in.

The hotel is old & run down. There were shipping containers in multiple places around the parking lot which makes it look pretty trashy. The A/C barely work, had one broken knob between 2 controls that took a lot of fussing with before it started blowing cold air. Needs a refresh.

Refund my money.
I booked through Hotels.com... and PAID for the room. Upon ATTEMPTED check-in at the hotel, I was told that "Hotels.com had not paid the hotel, so I would need to pay AGAIN, and maybe I could ask Hotels.com for a refund." Nope, nope, nope. I'm NOT paying twice for the place. Hotels.com should refund the money that I paid, as I was unable to stay in a this hotel... and had to sleep in the CAR, due to the fact that I did not have the funds immediately available to PAY FOR THE ROOM TWICE! If you sense that I am not happy with Hotels.com, you would be absolutely correct.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! There are stains in the room I killed 3 bugs with inbthe first hour. The pictures do not look at all of what the actual room looks like. I got a non smoki3room but the room smells like smoke. Expedia should be ashamed, there are nothing but bad reviews and they still allow this motel to be advertised. I didn't even stay one night here and could not get my full refund even though it was not a good enough condition for my son and i to stay.

The only thing I can say that I liked was the water pressure in the shower was good and the sheets looked clean...thats it. I expected better of a Howard Johnson hotel. What i did not like, There was NO bathroom door, you could see that there is supposed to be one but it is just gone, there were old McDonalds food wrappers under the table and the bed was off center so when my husband sat on it the whole mattress came up then you could see that the carpet for the bed pedestal was just laying over on the floor. I called and asked about the bathroom door and was informed that, "yes, that is an issue with that room". I had to ask for a blanket, no coffee pot, due to Covid no breakfast and no alternative was offered. I was not offered a different room and even though I tried cancelled the third night of the stay (way more than 24 hours cancellation, I was still charged a cancellation fee. This was an absolutely terrible place to stay.

NEVER EVER STAY HERE. We stayed for a few days and the first room they gave us was dirty/nasty that had leaking form the ceiling. They had no breakfast no ice no room phone no clock, the bedding looked old and ugly we were thinking of going to Walmart and buying the bedding sheets for the few days we stayed. The pool and hot tub said it was not working and the website said nothing about no breakfast and no pool. They knew that there were 3 of us and they gave 2 towels with no hand towel, they gave no shampoo. Air conditioner was loud and noisy and it made it very hard to sleep. We left 1 day early from how bad the service and room was. Absolutely horrible I don't recommend staying here. STAY AWAY.
