The location was terrible. on a freeway far from the city. 80 euros to get to city. Bath room on raised platform very trip hazzard. Lighting poor. Good place for luggage. Large window that oopened. Breakfast 16 euros and very marginal.

This is a nice hotel, within walking distance to the pretty town of Bettembourg where you can easily catch free public transportation into Luxembourg City.

No tissue paper was set in the bath room. The parking was full and I had to park the car far away behind the hotel building. The rest was all right.

Tired hotel
Hotel is in need of a refurb the room is looking tired, tv was old. The bed was ok but not upto the usual standard of other ibis hotels. The shower again was old and there is very little to differentiate between the ibis and the ibis budget besides it. Having stayed in both of its only for one night I would save the 30€ difference and get the cheaper hotel as it’s not worth the extra money.

Over priced average hotel
Stopped at the ibis Luxembourg Sud going to and returning from Germany. When we checked in I was told my Accor reward card was not valid as I had booked via a third party agent, unfair as Accor organisation still get the money for the booking. On the first stop going the breakfast was included in booking but on the return stop it was not but were not informed of this until we had started. We were then told we had to pay but this was despite being asked our room numbers as we entered the restaurant and they crossed us off the list they had. The breakfast was buffet style and was certainly not worth the €15 we were charged per person for coffee, rolls, cold meat, cheese and cereals. We did eat in the restaurant one evening and the menu was fairly limited, pricy and average food at a high price this is because they know you are a captured market. Room was very small and tight for space as although we booked single rooms we were given triple bedded rooms with one of the beds being a fold out bed that took up a lot of space and was not need. The bathroom was a pre-manufactured plastic box with just enough space to get the toilet, shower and basin inside. Parking was limited and we had to park at the rear on the grass and there appeared to be no security. Parking will get worse here as there is a new hotel being built on the site next to the ibis Luxembourg Sud. The only thing going for this hotel was its location just off the motorway and close to cheap petrol

Great value but very small rooms
If you want to see Luxembourg City and avoid the high prices, this is a great place to stay. You're only 5-8 miles south of the city. That said, there is pretty much nothing around this hotel, apart from two restaurants and an Ibis Budget hotel. You're right off the highway. So it's convenient, but there's not much ambiance. The other thing worth knowing is that the rooms are REALLY small. There's room for a bed and one folding chair. That's about it.

overpriced badly located
It seems impossible to find decent hotels at a decent price close enough to the centre of Luxembourg. Ibis it's definitely not one. In a noisy location, close to the motorway, with nowhere to go outside, outrageously overpriced for both room and breakfast, cheap quality rooms, average staff, terrible breakfast choice. The kind of "motel" you can't wait to leave.

Since there is a Budget Ibis next to this one I’d thought we’ll be provided with the usual kettle for tea/coffee & fridge in the room more so for the price difference. Hotel location is far to the nearest bus stop so not ideal if not driving as taxi ride is quite pricey. Enjoyed the dinner though and staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel location was obvious from the main road however, the hotel entrance sign was small and unlit. Parking is not the best for motorcycles. The room was adequate, despite the 'plastic toilet' facilities. The evening meal was delicious- chef was applauded when she appeared.

it was very expensive for what we got. The food in the restaurant we too expensive and the service from one woman was obvious that she didn't like serving Americans. The rooms were small and there were not enough towels. (no hand towels)
