LOVE LOVE LOVE!! What a special place! We were traveling through and it was like a movie montage in the midst of a tough trip. Scenic, breakfast was lovely, property is unique and perfectly located for night life. Would stay again and again.

Beautiful property with excellent service. Check in was easy, kitchen staff were very welcoming and although we had some issues with some noisy guests at night downstairs, we called the after hours number and they quieted them down so we could sleep. Cute property.

Quaint, charming inn. Staff was pleasant at all times. Stayed two nights will be back for two nights again this week and hopefully for five more nights next weekend. Property was excellent! Breakfast was right up my alley.

This was a real gem. Loved out room but the whole property is so special. And breakfast in the morning was amazing. I highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful visit !
We enjoyed the morning breakfast, the beautiful landscaped environment, & perfect location close to down town Gainesville. Entire staff very friendly and helpful! Loved the “mini kitchen” & porch with rocking chairs. Lovely large park right behind our cottage. The main house was beautifully decorated. It would be nice to have a “cheese & wine” reception everyday- nice way for guests to visit. Needs improvement- Dogs staying in cabins barking all day/ We only had one large & one small bath towel/ Noise between connected cabins in cottages is terrible! It was like our neighbors were actually walking & talking in our room! Insulation needs to be added to the walls of connecting rooms. In the mean time guests need to be given earplugs at check in time. Except for “sound issues” - (dogs barking & noise between connecting rooms) our stay was very enjoyable & this B&B is extremely charming. They have a huge room that can be used for social functions, and an outdoor courtyard with fountains, ponds, and sitting areas .

Amazing room. I just love it. When I visit Gainesville I will always book a room at the Sweetwater Branch Inn. The king bed is absolutely wonderfully comfortable. The room is stunning. Two comfy arms chairs, TV on wall adjusts to your liking. Temperature of the room was perfect. I would never stay in a hotel again when in this area. I can't wait for breakfast! Home cooked meal.

This place is very nice but old, tiny rooms and you can hear everything, even the floors cracking sound, the breakfast is excellent every day different menu, great service!! Need to upgrade the pillows they’re not confortable!!!

The Inn that made history!
I had the best experience. Check in was a breeze and I like the old fashioned keys that are provided. I forgot my toothbrush and they had a few essentials there for purchase. I only interacted with one staff member, Laurent, and he made quite an impression. He was very nice and considerate. I came back after a late dinner with a friend as he was closing up for the night. Before he left he made sure I didn’t need anything. I thought that was thoughtful. The accommodations were top notch. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Gainesville other than here, again. I love history, and the houses brought that. I like the red ropes across the doorways to each room/suite. You were able to see the beautiful, unoccupied rooms, without entering. The antiques, the decor in general, the thought that went into making the houses feel like a home was comforting. I believe I may have been the only guest in my particular house, but I felt safe, and had the best nights sleep. I highly recommend the Sweetwater Branch Inn.

Staff welcomed me upon arriving. I was an hour early and they accommodated early check in. The house itself is charming. So much little detail in everything. The breakfast was delicious and the woman that makes it definitely works hard. One front desk agent accommodated me by the name of Laurent. I was not used to the air conditioning and was very chilly at night. He turned it down a few notches for me and offered me extra blankets. So nice of him. I had a wonderful stay thank you!!

Such an incredible place!! They thought of everything, the grounds , room, amenities and full breakfast, there’s literally nothing that was overlooked. Beautiful, historic and romantic.5-10 minute walk to great restaurants! Can not wait to return!
