My family and i love staying at Tarrytown House Estate during the months of winter and early spring. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. We like walking around the property and enjoy the scenery. We enjoyed having breakfast at the Winter Palace and dinner at Goosefeather. Food is very good. We also apent time at the heated indoor pool and sauna.

Just I wants to add one thing, my checking was very late like 3:30 AM, not body was there in the front desk , I have to screaming several time , according to the night clerk and security guy came at front . So far I like this hotel .

The Tarrytown House is a truly beautiful location with a lot of character and charm. We went in the winter so did not get to appreciate the grounds although it was very pretty with a little snow on the ground. the rooms lacked a little luster, they seemed dated and a little worn. The indoor pool and sauna were sub par. We enjoyed the main restaurant for a few drinks, wandered into the main castle like building but was not sure if we could enjoy the area as it appeared to be closed. The Cellar bar was closed so could not appreciate that area. We did Uber into town for dinner and drinks which was nice. But since it was winter all of the surrounding attractions like lyndhurst, Kyukut and Sunnyside were closed for the season... so we may try again in the spring.

Had a really nice overnight stay coming from the city. One thing I wish they had was more snack/food options. The room we stayed in was very clean and a good size. Goosefeather was incredible - the restaurant connected to the property!

Nice and clean room, although it felt a little empty like something was missing from the room to keep it cozy. The bed is comfortable but it could use some rugs under the bed or around so it doesn't move lol

balcony with view of the hudson was amazing in the king mansion. but the place has so many many steps. there is no elevator, though the staff offered to take our packages upstairs. the pool is located down and up so many staircases you could have been in alice in wonderland running running.....

I enjoyed the property's well-kept surroundings, and parking was convenient and rooms were clean. However, there was excessive noise in the hallways, with people walking, talking, and shutting doors, which we could hear in the middle of the night, and it was quite loud. The dining options were not great, and the heater seemed to be blasting both cold and hot air interchangeably.

The estate is beautiful. The room is clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicous and we ordered in room service from Goosefeather for dinner.. It was also delicious. My family and i enjoyed walking around the estate. We enjoyed the sauna and the indoor pool. It was a very relaxing and peaceful environment. Parking was a minor issue at nigjt time. It was a bit dark near the parking lots. I drove around the lots a couple of times to find parking lot 3. That was the lot recommemded to me to park. .

Lovely property! Spent NYE there and had a blast. Ate dinner at Goosefeather as well and it was pretty good. Stood at the King Mansion, very classic looking which we really enjoyed. Staff was very nice and helpful and even rang in the New Year with some of them at bar. Would absolutely go again.

Room was pretty basic, no frills. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. The only problem was when we walked in, it was freezing inside. No heat turned on. We turned it on but it took more than an hour to warm up, during which time we had to keep our coats on. They should have turned the heat on before we arrived. Checking in also took a long time because they couldn’t initially find the reservation (had booked online earlier that day so that could be why.)

This is a very charming place to stay. The grounds and gardens are beautiful here . We had a sweet lady named Fedelia check us in and she went out of her way to ensure our requests were met! Bring your bathing suit as the indoor pool and sauna are included.

The property was not accessible to wheelchair users. However, the staff helped to move the wheelchair person up and down the hills
