It’s a decent hotel right in the heart of Sydney. It’s reasonably close to all the tourist spots, and downtown. However saying it’s a four star hotel is a bit much. It’s a decent three star hotel, with unfriendly staff, no restaurant or dining options, and a somewhat noisy hotel. Not terrible, not great, just an average three star hotel.

We have stayed at the boulevard a couple of times over the years. We find it a very convenient location with transport right outside the front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful in any requests we had. The room was also very clean, and the bed was super comfy. It hasn’t changed much over the years so it is starting to look a little dated, but other than that, nothing but good things to say about this place. There are also some amazing little eateries and a cool little pub that we discovered on the back streets which are worth checking out. Highly recommend those. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone and if we return to Sydney we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.

Our only issues were: Room keys kept not working each day. The cost of breakfast was extremely high for someone who normally has light breakfasts.

Room and facilities were great however the noise complaint we gave for our neighbouring room was not attended to by staff leaving us sleepless and awake from 2am till 5am and no compensation for our room was given. We were told it’s not there problem

We loved our stay at the Sydney Boulevard Hotel! The staff were lovely and the facilities great, the location was an easy walk away from the CBD - But the highlight was our room. It had the most magnificent view over Sydney and the harbour and the room was really well sized.

Location Shines, but Aging Dim the Experience
My stay at the Sydney Boulevard was a mixed bag. Sure, the location was fantastic, but as soon as I stepped through the door, I felt like I'd stepped back in time. It was barely past sunrise when I dragged my suitcase up to the front desk, bleary eyed and hoping to leave my bags and grab some coffee. But nope, not at the Sydney Boulevard. They slapped me with a full day's charge for the "early check-in," While the hotel does offer parking, it's not free, and this information should be clearly communicated on hotels.com to avoid any surprises for guests. Now, the room itself: spacious, sure, but with all the charm of a 1980s office building. I get it, things get old: carpets wear, paint fades, grout gets grimy. But the Sydney Boulevard seemed to be clinging to its faded grandeur instead of giving the place a much-needed refresh. And for the price I paid, I expected a bit more TLC. The absence of USB charging ports in the room was a noticeable inconvenience, especially in this digital age where most travelers rely on such amenities. The bathroom, in particular, appeared old, with only one functioning mirror light and visible stains in the bathroom stall. What disappointed me most was the apparent lack of investment in fixing these issues. In conclusion, while the Hotel has a great location, it falls short in terms of maintaining a modern and well-kept environment.

No microwave access but they did have a shared laundry option and electric kettles in the rooms for warming water for tea. Friendly staff who were always super helpful! Highly recommend!

The location was perfect, close to hyde Park and the museum. Showers had great pressure a d fantastic hot water however a lot of mold in the bathroom. Rooms were not ready at 3pm even though we had arrived early and came back and were the rushed through with the cleaning to get ready

Excellent views over the Harbor
A good hotel for the money but starting to look a bit dated. The harbor view room that i booked had excellent views across the harbor. It's a shame that there's no bar in the hotel but there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The harbor and botanical gardens are within walking distance. Overall I'd book the hotel again especially for the views

Great staff, knowledgeable and friendly without being over the top. Location is fabulous, an easy place to drive to in the heart of Sydney. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet even with being less than 2 minutes walk from the National Museum. Parking is a bit tight, but nothing too bad compared to European similar locations. Cost at $25 a day is not too onerous for Sydney CDB. Will absolutely be staying here again next time we visit Sydney.
