“The Veranda”

The only thing we wish is more vegan treats for breakfast.

“Lovely place but lacks a bit on easy stuff.”

Location is great for downtown Orlando, a block from Lake Eola. My pet peeves were basically a lack of towels, particularly a bathmat for coming out of the shower. The floors are tiled and can get slippery. Bed was very comfortable, we stayed in the first floor Europa room. Although the coffee was good the breakfast lacked. Most B&B's I've stayed in have fresh baked goods in the morning, these were not. Staff person we met was very nice and provided us with lots of info. He gets a 5 on the 1 - 5 scale. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again but I'll request extra towels. The comfort rate of three is really because a lack of towels which is a real irritation for me.

“rodent safari”

Rats abound, bounding up and down stairs and scurrying under porch latticework. Bring a pellet gun for some pest control or rodent safari.

“Not impressed”

For a business trip, the only saving aspect is its down town location. Room overlooked a shed with an outdoor party area behind that. Check in was slow with no one in the office area on my arrival. After being late for my first meeting (only partly because of no one being available to check me in) and being on the road for 20 hours, i dreamed of getting to sleep. Too bad there was a party in the courtyard outside my window. Too bad I had to sleep for a morning meeting. Too bad I had to wait for the person in the next room to get in so we could arrange our cars in the tandem parking lot.
