“Very Good Choice for Kalmar”
The proximity to Train Station was a plus. The continental breakfast buffet was outstanding. Computer internet was almost always available. Attendants were very helpful, especially in helping with language barrier. The only concern was that towels were not replaced unless lying on the floor (that may be their policy).
“Great Hotel/Great Location/Great Service”
Stay here if you can!
“I'd stay again”
great location, close to train and all sights!
“Completely satisfied”
Great location, walking distance everywhere. Small but nice and clean.
“totally satisfied”
went to stockholm december 2005 and stayed here for three nights. the hotel was modern, clean, comfortable, had a nice lounge/bar area and a decent breakfast. the location is walkable to lots of shopping as well as to museums and other tourist attractions.... which is what i went to stockholm to see! i'd recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.
“Exceeded expectations”
I have extensive experience with European hotels, which are much smaller and less comfortable than American hotels. This is especially true with Danish and French hotels. First Hotel Vesterbro is absolutely an exemption and far exceeded my expectations. I recommend it to all my colleagues who frequently visit Copenhagen, and from now it will be MY Hotel in the Danish capital. Five min. from Central Station and moderately priced. One very satisfied customer :-)
“courteous staff, comfortable hotel”
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well-maintained.
“Great hotel!!”
Great hotel, great price. My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of an Expedia package. It was referred to me by a friend who works in Europe and stayed there for business. It was very clean, great European feel and only a 5 minute walk from great shopping and the center of Copenhagen. Right downstairs on the street is a grocery store and a bakery for fresh breakfast pastries.
“Copenhagen Christmas”
Clean, Scandinavian style rooms. Refreshing to have hardwood floors instead of typical filthy carpet. Reasonable size rooms, with adequate closet space, nice bathroom and fine desk. Windows that open are a plus for fresh air, although the street side is on the noisy side for sleeping with them open. Breakfast is okay, but we enjoyed getting out and finding a good bakery for a treat and a good coffee at Baresso down the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location was a convenient walk to the main train station and other transit. Being there up to Christmas morning was a joy to observe how the Danes celebrate the holiday -- refreshingly not as over-commercialized as in the US.
“Good hotel, good location”
The price of this hotel was very reasonable... that's why I chose it... and it turned out to be very nice. My only complaint was the price of internet in the room... over $20/day as I recall... which was exorbitant. Otherwise the hotel is modern and very clean and in a great location near the train station and Tivoli.
