“Not Impressed”

Judging by the number of guests (very few), it seems somewhat surprising that this hotel is still in operation. With only a very limited continental breakfast available, I would consider the rate to be too high compared to other hotels in the immediate area. The hotel description should at least be changed to show that it does not offer a full breakfast. At least the room was clean & the location was good.

1. Check-in: Although I booked the room via an internet web site when I arrived they had no record of my hotel reservation and had me recharge my credit card (triple digits mind you) again. 2. Room: It wasn't 'dirty' but the carpet had lumps and was worn, the shower used caulk around the tiles, they had put decking screws into the formicka to 'fix' the bathroom counter. A dorm fridge was on the floor in the room but it was not working. The shampoo was not sealed leading me to believe it had been refilled. There was a matchbook size sewing kit on the counter in the bathroom with different hotels logo on it. This made me wonder why I didn't call that low cost hotel. Breakfast: You had to give them a raffle type ticket to get your breakfast. They served, TANG, fake runny eggs, undercooked bacon, and very dry pancakes. I was NOT impressed. I felt safe, but that's about where my good comments would end. Until this hotel gets new management, I wouldn't recommend it.
