“Very relaxing place to stay”

Rooms are a bit expensive, but you do get your own cabin. Very realxing, with a swinging bench thing infront of the cabin for a great outdoors feel. Our cabin was large and clean. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the fireplace. I thought it was going to be a real fireplace. It was not. But that's no big deal of course. There are difernent kind of cabins. If you're staying in a meadow view cabin (like us), which is cheaper, your cabin will be located close to the highway, not really located on the ranch. But that was no problem for us. The highway is far enough not to be disturbed by it. If you like horse back riding, you can do that from the ranch. Or you can just enjoy the bisons grazing or pet the mini horses. Its nice and quiet location has a disadvantage. Finding a place to eat can be a challenge. The restaurant that's part of the lodge is very expensive (but really good). You can also get a pizza for 20+ dollars within a few miles (also part of the lodge I think). But other than that you may need to stock up on snacks at a gas station. Especially for breakfast. There's a Subway relatively near by, but when we were there at 10.30AM, it was closed.
