Bahia Chahue
Bahia Chahue features a beach club that is open to the public. Although the beach is lovely here, the tide’s strong undercurrent can make swimming treacherous. Wide boulevards connect the seaside town to La Crucecita, originally built to house the area’s tourism workers. La Crucecita offers the best shopping in the area and restaurants favored by locals.

Bahia Conejos
Steep cliffs rise behind Bahia Conejos’ golden sands. Like its neighbors, Bahia Conejos is famed for having aquamarine waters. Here, the Rio Copalita empties into Playa la Bocana, a beach favored by surfers. Upstream, the river leads to the Copalita Falls and the region’s coffee plantations.

Bahia de Santa Cruz
Visitors often fall for the charms of Santa Cruz, known for its nightlife, cruise ship dock, colonial-style architecture, three white-sand beaches, and a bay filled with coral reefs. El Faro lighthouse is one of many viewpoints nestled in the surrounding hills. Nearly 30,000 acres of flora and fauna lie west of here at the Bahias de Huatulco National Park.

Bahia Tangolunda
Bahia Tangolunda is known for its upscale hotels and the pretty but challenging Tangolunda Golf Course. Parts of the golf course offer views of the emerald-green bay and its five white-sand beaches. Shopaholics can get their fix at the cluster of stores next the hotel resorts on Benito Juarez Boulevard.
