Kelowna - West Bank
Situated along the shores of Okanagan Lake, Kelowna is the largest city in the Okanagan Valley and one of the fastest growing in North America. Popular activities include boating in the summer; and, in winter, skiing at Big White and Silver Star ski resorts. The city has a world-wide reputation for fine wine and Westbank, directly across the lake, has some of the largest wineries in the region.

Osoyoos
At the southern end of the Okanagan Valley near B.C.’s border with Washington, Osoyoos Lake is the warmest in Canada. On the shores of the lake, the town of Osoyoos often records Canada’s highest daytime temperatures. The town’s population surges in the summer months, due to its numerous recreational opportunities. For winter recreation, Mount Baldy Ski Resort is only a 45-minute drive away.

Penticton
Nestled between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake, Penticton has beaches to the north and south, and is within an hour drive of 88 wineries. The city’s semi-arid climate provides 2,000 annual hours of sunshine. Annual festivals include the Okanagan Wine Festival, the Penticton Peach Festival, and the Ironman Canada Triathlon. Boating, rock climbing, biking, and golfing are all popular activities.

Summerland
Curving along the western shore of Lake Okanagan, Summerland’s downtown area is characterized by Old English Tudor buildings and brick sidewalks. Fresh fruit stands, wineries, and golf courses are plentiful in the surrounding area, and the historic Kettle Valley Steam Train remains a popular attraction for tourists.

Vernon
At the northern end of Okanagan Lake and Kalamalka Lake, Vernon hosts the summertime Sunshine Festival and the second largest Winter Carnival in North America. Summer activities include boating, rock climbing, and beach volleyball. The area is also home to numerous golf courses. On the edge of town, Silver Star Mountain Resort is one of the top-rated family ski resorts in Canada.
