Not a great experience.Posted Sep 27, 2014
The staff wasn't helpful at all. The were very dismissive and they like to say I don't know, I can't and I won't for everything. The only thing that they did help with was a taxi and the number they have me was wrong. It is too far away and to expensive to be worth staying at. We have stayed at others but I'm not sure I will again. The breakfast was gross. The oatmeal was a solid cold mess. The bread was stale. Eggs were nasty. Nothing was impressive about this place. We had issues with the keys and they told me they were aware of te problems it happens a lot.

Convenient to MTUPosted Jul 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I gave a 4 rather than 5 mark was that our tub drained very slowly and the vents in the bathroom were connected to the next room so you could hear everything that was going on in the bathroom next to yours.

Country Inn & Suites, HoughtonPosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a very nice stay. Impressed how clean and well kept the hotel was. Breakfast was better than most hotels. The hotel is also in a very good location close to shopping and places to eat. Hotel staff was most friendly.

Great place to stayPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Everything, no changes needed.
Cons: Nothing, keep up the good work!
Location: Great location with restaurant next door and others in a short drive.
The hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel was very clean and organized and the room was very well equipped. The free breakfast was very good with many choices and very well stocked. The location was very convenient and easy to find with a restaurant right next door. The extra hour of daylight in this location was a nice surprise due the time zone configuration, it was still light outside at 10:20pm. I will look for the Country Inn name in all my future travels. Great value at a great price!

Pleasant VacationPosted Jul 6, 2014
Location: We toured the Quincy mine shaft in Hancock and drove through the Keweenaw Peninsula. We also visited Copper Harbor and Fort Wilkins.
We stayed two nights while visiting Houghton and the Keweenaw Peninsula for a family U.P vacation. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good and the pool was clean and well maintained. We will stay here again when we come back to visit next time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Well designed, well managed hotel.Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: See above.
Location: See above.
Management is very responsive to requests. All areas are clean and pleasant. Business center has computer and printer conveniently available for guests. A work-out room has a variety of good equipment for exercise. Swimming pool is open from early am to late evening for adults. Location is convenient to shopping center yet far enough way that it is quiet. Discount may be available If you are visiting the retirement community at "the Bluffs" and ask for it.

Welcome from the moment we came in the front door.Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Quiet, good location, well maintained
Location: About 3 miles into downtown which has a lot more unique than a local Wally store.
This is a nice, clean property. I wish the pillows were firm but the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and overall this was a good place to stay. I'll be back next month.

Soft Bed, Late PoolPosted May 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed how quiet the room was and how soft the bed. The pool and hot tub are open until midnight, and check out was at noon! J at the front desk was particularly kind and helpful.
