“finally, a nice hotel in Houma”

For almost 20 years I have traveled back to my home town for Christmas. Every year stayed at broken, old hotels until they finally started building new ones. This one is very nice. Spacious rooms, good service. Wish they had an indoor hot-tub, but can't have everything! They did have a nice breakfast setup and were very friendly at the desk. Convenient location too. Just far enough away from the traffic of MLK Blvd so it didn't affect getting in or out that much.

“A Houma Wedding”

Since our friends were getting married, we found ourselves in Houma one more time. This was my first stay at La Quinta in Houma. It was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was great. Neat,clean and nicely decorated. Close to good food and shopping. Pet friendly. I will return again and again.

“Good Christmas Eve Stay”

I stayed on Christmas Eve; every staff member gave me the time of day. My room was very clean. Even though the hotel is pet friendly; I didn't have any issues with my room or any guests that did have pets. I've stayed at this hotel once before with a boyfriend and it was pleasant. The breakfast was pretty good.

“Hotel LaQuinta, Houma, LA”

Everything was great until the last night, we were awakened at 3 am by children and a dog running up and down the hallway waking up anybody who was sound asleep. Other than that the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The lady was a little snotty with my husband for fixing a waffle at 9:05 because he was a little late getting down to breakfast.

Comfortable and quiet, but lacks some amenities I would have expected for the price.

Hotel room was extremely humid and we were unable to get the humidity down with the A/C. Carpet was sticky and carpet fuzz stuck to our feet. Otherwise, everything was clean. Bed was comfortable.
