Room was not clean. Water pressure was great and desk clerk was nice. They had sign on the door that they needed help with front desk, housekeeping and maintenance. Maybe that is why or room was not clean.

Housekeeping nightmare

Pros: Convenience to center of town.
Cons: Better cleaning and maintenance of the rooms.
Bath sink had a layer of dirt almost like it had backed up and the bathtub was likewise dirty and the toilet leaked at the floor gasket. We exchanged it for a 2nd room. 2nd room was better but the bathroom definitely needed a good scrubbing and you dare not walk barefoot on the carpet. Next morning the towels were changed but the bed was not made up.

When I arrived at the hotel, we checked in right away. Upon entering th e room, it smelled like smoke. We requested a non smoking room. Called the front desk and we were given another room. Ok, so I went to use the bathroom and the toilet seat was loose and it didn't flush and the door didn't shut tight as it was too short. Maintenance did fix the toilet asap. The air conditioning unit kept shutting off. The room needed some serious structural work but the bed was comfortable. The reception on the tv was bad, some channels were fuzzy. The breakfast was ok but the biscuits were clearly days old, hard as a brick. The staff told me I had to microwave it. Really? Overall I give this hotel a 2. But the front desk gets a 5, they were very nice and accommodating. Probably won't stay here again unless the hotel is upgrade.

Not first choice but pleasantly surprised...

Granted we needed a hotel in Homer, but they were all booked, as this was a last minute business trip for my husband's job...we were pleasantly surprised at the facilities. The bed and pillows werent the most comfortable, but the overall services, basic breakfast and facility itself was quite good for the price.
