This hotel offers great location to minute maid and other downtown destinations. The bar is very upscale, but affordable. I will stay here again.

Conveniently located in downtown, this hotel has a contemporary look, comfortable beds and a bar that's opened late with a small outside patio. Will stay again. Without Expedia, I would not have booked not 'knowing" the name but i'm glad we did.

The Hotel was clean and close to the opera theater. Convenient.

We came to Houston for a bachelorette/ bachelor party and stay at the Alden and it was simply amazing. The concierge service was a great help especially when it came to giving us directions, helping us with a cab, and just general help. The rooms were clean, smelled good, and was ready when we got there. I really loved this hotel from the minute I got there until the day I left!!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the ballpark and downtown restaurants. The only complainat would be somewhat insufficient lighting in the room/ bathroom.

From the outside, the hotel looks kind of run down, but they have revamped it and everything inside looks very modern! Great hotel, and everything was high quality.
