Easy access from M.D. Anderson. Older motel but clean. Refrigerator & microwave in rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Close to restaurants. Helpful staff.

“Not impressed”

Although the location was excellent and the staff was very friendly we were not comfortable with rooms that had see through curtains. When I called to complain, the desk clerk seemed surprised and expressed that they would make a note of that My sister in law`s room next door also had sheer curtains.. The toilet ran all night and we had to keep the bathroom door closed because of the noise. The hotel was older than we expected but the rooms were clean and the rates were reasonable for that location. I probably wouldn`t stay there again.

The Carefree Inn has the nicest and most helpful staff. I was there for the final four and they were booked, but never failed to help in any way possible. The hotel is old but very clean. It was very convenient in relation to the Reliant Center and the desk clerks gave us a heads up on parking!!!

Hotel room was clean, but old. Lights were dingy and not very bright. Air conditioner didnt seem to keep room cold very well. Good for the price we paid, but I probably wouldnt stay here again. Close to our event and not hard to get to.

The hotel was okay. It served its purpose and provided us a place for my family and I to rest. The rooms were clean but it was an older hotel. It wasn't too bad for the price. The location was near the medical center and area restaurants. The staff was friendly.
