Middle Of Downtown

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: How elegant it looked.
Cons: Maybe a bigger room and shower.
Location: about 3 min away from The Walters Downtown,Its about maybe less than 26 Min to the Galleria&it was like 5 min away from the Holocaust museum
Me and a friend came out here from Louisiana to go see a Concert at The Walters Downtown and it ended up only being 3 minutes away from the hotel, and It was only 26 minutes away from the Galleria Mall and like 5 minutes away from The Holocaust Museum! It is something I will more than likely to return, The hotel staff was pretty friendly and the hotel was very very nice! Something Rich people or business people would stay!

I loved my little room. All my needs were met in it. Clean room, bathroom and carpet. Large flatscreen tv at the foot of my bed. AC worked great without too much noise. Comfy bed attractively appointed with down comforter and duvet cover. I would stay here again!

downtown hotel

Pros: downtown location.
Cons: take a look at above (experiences)
Location: close to George Brown convention center
Noisy - small rooms - valet parking only and expensive - room was clean and fairly comfortable - free coffee in room and lobby - no concession stand.

Clean room and convenient restaurant.

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: The restaurant and cleanliness of our room.
Cons: We heard water gushing through the plumbing all night, it even woke us up, we were on the second floor. The bed was a double NOT A QUEEN!!!
Location: We walked to the convention center a few blocks away and fabulous restaurants!!
The room was clean and free of any musty or smoking odors. The location was centralized, the restaurant Bistro 7 had good breakfast and fast service, our server was great he remembered us every day! I hate when they say "QUEEN" when you book and there is a double bed they are NOT THE SAME!! That is small for two adults and we were not told, despite asking upon booking, that the shuttle does not run on weekends.

Great Location

This hotel was a great price for how nice it is and its downtown location. Although Houston isn't my favorite city to be in, this hotel made it not so bad. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. They are doing construction on a nearby building, but that didn't bother me at all. It was actually demolished while I was staying there.

Pros: historic appeal. espresso machine in the lobby ---superb. valets were on the ball.
Cons: small rooms - could have better decor to reflect space and heritage.
Location: great museums, sushi other good ethnic and great post modern architecture. accessible to other parts of Houston
high points - on property restaurant Table 7 - better than it looks - food quality, value - very nice. neighborhood has very good offerings as well. room was a little musty at first, but that could be an urban thing. overall smooth experience.

Perfect for what we needed, just a one night stay. Hotel has great amenities. The "queen" room is actually two twins pushed together so it was more like a king which was unexpected and nice.

The Club Experience

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: The Vintage feel and friendly staff
Cons: The carpet in the room
Location: It was located very central nearby lots of restaurants and shops
I made this reservation without any prior knowledge of this Hotel. Overall, it was a good experience. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Club Room was a bit too small for the price, but adequate. Restaurant in hotel lobby was just ok, not too good food. The Hotel itself had a sweet Vintage feel to it and overall, I spent a really nice stay there.
