Comfort Suites

The room was exactly as advertised. 2 negatives: very dark, even with all of the lights on. Probably because of the fluorescent bulbs ( why do other hotel chains still use the nice, bright incandescent bulbs& this one does not?). The miniature pillows don't do the job! They need the real pillows like everyone else !

When I booked this hotel after a delayed flight, I thought it was right by the airport. After the shuttle pick-up I learned it was a few miles from the airport. Not a worry, since it only took us about 15 minutes to reach our destination. Check in was easy, staff was friendly, and a return trip to the airport in the morning was quickly arranged. I was too tired after an international flight to even think about going out to dinner, but found some choices in the snack shop that acceptable. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, TV worked. Printed my boarding pass in the business center. Really good breakfast choices the next day before heading out: eggs, sausage, waffle iron, fresh fruit, yoghurt, breads and hot and cold cereals. I received a courtesy call for the shuttle that was ready on time. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant and efficient. An excellent price point too.

Close to beltway easy access to all routes out of Houston.

Out in the boonies, no restaurant, no bar except for shuttle service to and from. The bathroom tub plug would not release the water. But... I slept well.

Had an unexpected layover at Houston. Picked up by the shuttle, easy check-in,comfortable room, and wonderful bed. Especially appreciated when checking in after midnight.

Would definitely recommend this hotel based on the price point.

room size was great - two queen beds and a pull out couch! Free hot breakfast was delicious as well - and had huge selection of food - including Belgium waffles. 10 minutes from hotel to rental car return at IAH - very handy.

The best bed I've sleep in! The staff was great! Easy on / off beltway!

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Comfort Suites. I have never stayed at Comfort Suites and I was very impressed. The breakfast was great and the room was very clean and very spacious for the price. The upkeep and condition of the hotel was nice as well. Definitely a great value.
