“Just what I needed.”

This was a great place in a great location. The only two things I would change is that they didn't have a fridge in the room and there wasn't an ice maker on each floor. I stayed for 3 nights and was very comfortable.

“Good hotel for stopping off point for the airport. Very polite. Good clean room.”

Lobby and hall needed cleaning, but all in all, absolutely no complaints. Very good shuttle service.

“Just average”

This is an older motel that needs to be updated. Lack of microwave or fridge in the room was a deficit. Main reason for staying there was close proximity to Houston Hobby airport and shuttle service.

“Country Inn & Suites”

I just needed a hotel for a quick one night stay and this hotel worked well. The room and bed were comfortable, the breakfast was the typical breakfast at 2 star hotels. It was a good value for the price. I was a little worried about it's proximity to the airport and noise but never heard a plane at all. Overall I was pleased other than their wifi was pretty weak. I continually got bumped off and then it disappeared totally.

“Good Airport Area Hotel”

I've stayed at several Country Inn & Suites before and this one was like most of the rest. Rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. Surrounding area is challenged to say the least with some boarded up buildings - out of towners shouldn't wander too far off the beaten path. Also, can't turn left towards the airport out of the hotel one must either circle the block or go down the road and do a u-turn. Breakfast is nice. Your standard fare - including something you don't see at most breakfast bars - hot sauce. Yes, you are definitely in Texas when you see hot sauce offered to go with the eggs. Pool is outdoors. Which is OK if you want to work on your suntan but not if you just want to soak in a spa - which they don't have. Of course it is adjacent to Hobby airport - which means there's jet aircraft noise of aircraft departing and arriving.

Area recommendations

I was traveling on business and my business was in the more economically challenged areas of Houston. Not necessarily the areas tourists want to visit.

“Needs renovation”

This hotel was decent for the price, but it definitely could use a renovation. I would rather spend a little more money and stay at a newer, cleaner hotel.
