Great hotel,staff very helpful and friendly.Posted Aug 27, 2014
Cons: We should have asked for a room closer to the lobby.
Location: Restaurants, shopping at Kroger was walking distance.
We were lost, called the hotel and they guided us to the hotel. Once we got there Dennis was very helpful and friendly. He was the one that gave us excellent directions.

Nice Location...Horrible Beds!Posted Aug 6, 2014
The hotel was conveniently located to all of the Houston City Pass attractions that we planned to visit. We were at this hotel for 3 nights, we had two double beds and the beds were hard as a rock. I spoke to the front desk staff after the first night. They offered to move me to another room but the bed was just as hard. So, if you like hard firm beds this is the place to be. The price was great, but I just expected a better nights rest.

A four star hotel in price and service!Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Everything! The breakfast, the rooms, physical structure, and the staff were all amazing, and we will definitely stay there again!
Cons: As far as I was concerned, nothing!
Location: Anything off of Westheimer, and you are also fairly close to both I-10 and Sam Houston Tollway!
We had to make an emergency trip to Houston over the holiday weekend. I found this hotel on Expedia at a special nightly rate that was comparable and near equal in pricing to many two star hotels. I don't know that I was expecting much out of what you would find at any hotel in that kind of price range. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I'll start with the hotel itself. It definitely has the feel of a motel, but the amenities do set it above other similar establishments. Mini-fridges, comfortable beds/pillows, spacious rooms, clean facilities, and free wi-fi were all available to us. The hotel has character from an interior design standpoint, with breakfast nooks complete with televisions if you want to catch the news while you eat in the bistro (no continental breakfast, but I was okay with that). Beyond that, the space was incredibly well maintained (wall mounted thermostats controlled wall A/C units), and the halls looked well vacuumed and clean. The pool was closed for renovation, but we had other matters to attend to, so that was not a deal breaker. Aside from the physical state of the hotel, I must also praise the staff. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating and supportive. We were in town for a family emergency, and when the staff realized that, they asked if there was anything that could be done to make our stay better. Super friendly, incredibly professional, and really just a top notch establishment in every regard.

Pros: Location was good. Off the noisey street, but close to a good grocery store.
Cons: A quieter Air Conditioner (Maybe a Mitsubishy split system ?). They are super quiet, and really work well, not to mention energy effiecient.
While attending a local training session, my stay at the Courtyard was quite pleasent.
