Ok hotel near medical center

Room was small but cozy. I felt the bathroom was lacking in size and was in ragged condition. The drop ceiling made the bathroom even smaller.

A hotel which lives of old glories

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: It was close to the convention center where ai had an event.
Cons: Need new carpet, new mattreses, new elevators, new bathroom cealings and tyles, which I consider the priority, the parking is not sufficient
Location: Close to dowtown which is good
Crown Plaza used to be a very good hotels, but it seems to me it was long time ago, old fashioned facilities, stained carpets, unsecure elevators are part of the most important things need to be updated, without forgeting the AC system, hotel staff make their best effort but with an old facilities is not easy.

Hotel is outdated and dirty. Would not recommend

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Brunch was only ok, hotel is dirty and rundown. Broken elevators, fire alarms, local area is ghetto. From inside my room I can hear the freeway and loud cars.

Hotel Near NRG Park

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Staff were very friendly and had good customer service.
Cons: rooms need to be remodeled.
Location: NRG Park is near and there is a shopping plaza less than a mile that has a couple of restaurants.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the room. I have stayed in Travel Lodge's that were nicer than this. The ceiling in the bathroom was very low. If you were over 6 feet you would actually struggle to stand comfortably. You could not even use the mirror in the bathroom unless you swatted down because it was hung so low because of the low ceilings. There are no normal item you would expect like a fridge or safe. It did seem weird to see the only communication from the hotel to be a keep looking flyer saying how to stay in and around the hotel. All the furniture was very old and the walls needed painted. Did not feel comfortable at all.

Old but nice

Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Had a restaurant / bar although I didn't use it.
Cons: Just needs a little more renovating but it was good for the price.
Positives were room cleanliness and d├ęcor was updated. Room service was super fast. Negatives, front desk agent seemed grumpy that she had to make me new keys (I left mine in the room). Same girl next day was super friendly at checkout. My toilet was running and would not flush, when I opened up the basin it looked like it was 100 years old. Other than it was fine.

Comfortable bed. No microwave and no frig in room. Bathroom needed updating. No coffee bar in lobby. Way over priced.
