“Good Place to Stay”

The hotel was very clean and the service was good. There were some rowdy guests and a large athletic team during our stay, so it was not as quiet as we would have liked. The pool was very nice. It was a bit cold though due to children pouring massive amounts of ice in it just before we arrived. The parking garage felt safe. The restaurant was far too expensive for the amount and quality of food. However, the restaurant staff was very attentive and helpful to the guests. Overall we were pleased with our experience.

“Great service and stay!”

The hotel was lovely and fragrant. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The thermostat resonded quickly to the room temperature when set. I would definately stay there again. The parking garage was monitored 24 hours and my 2 requested wake up calls were prompt. I haven't enjoyed a hotel this much in a long time!

“Better than expected”

We were in town for the final week of the King Tut exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts. My family and I were very impressed by the level of service and the decor of the Crowne Plaza. I was a bit concerned with the hotel being right on the SW Expressway, but once inside it's very cozy & relaxing. Plus we were relatively close to Hermann Park and the Museum District. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet!

“The Best Location”

Stayed for 3 nights. Location was fantastic, close to food places, supermarket and just 10 to 15 minutes away from downtown. Bed was super comfortable. Staff was always willing to help and answer any queries you may have. Had asked for a late check out and it was checked and done in just a few minutes... Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and families.

“Easy to find coming into Houston from New Orleans”

When booking my hotel this trip, I did not know where I was to book. With the 3 1/2 * rating I was very pleasently surprised how this hotel was like a 4 to 5 star. The convenience of location and the helpful personal made me feel real comfortable. PS: and it is close to our newest discovery, the Guadalajara restaurant. EXCELLENT mexican food... We had fun... thanks

“Great hotel!”

The location was central to everything I needed - work, Galleria for shopping, and restaurant row for a nice variety of food. I felt safe with the covered and secure parking. The rooms were small but surprisingly quiet even though the hotel is right off the freeway! There was ample hot water for the showers and nice towels - not thin and scratchy! I would definitely use the Crown Plaza - River Oaks for my next trip to Houston and would also recommend it to friends and colleagues.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I scored two rooms at the Crowne Plaza River Oaks under one of the unpublished offers. What a steal!! There were 8 girlfriends in town for my friend's bachelorette party. The hotel upgraded us to bigger rooms and we were beyond comfortable in the rooms. The area had endless options for our dinner and drinks out that night. And, when our cab was 30 minutes late to pick us up to head out to Washington Ave (less than a $10 cab ride away!), the valet got us a cab in less than 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our stay was perfect! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who might ask.
