Nice hotel!Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: The desk clerk, who was friendly and took care of me--and the bed, which was very comfy!
Cons: Owner/manager could use some training on taking care of guests--don't be condescending and don't act like your guests are not a priority.
Location: I ate twice at the Skillet Restaurant down the road, and it was very good--simple food but awesome! :-) I was in on business so did not get to explore
Nice hotel; room and bed was clean and comfortable. Clerk was super nice. I even met her family, who had come in for a quick visit--I was so tired from my trip--she noticed and even made coffee for me! I needed a late check-out and she was more than happy to oblige--the manager/owner (a lady of Indian/Middle Eastern descent--I am assuming here; I don't want to offend) was not so accommodating. She seemed irritated that I asked. At any rate, it was a pleasant stay, mostly because of the awesome desk clerk! :-)

Nice for the PricePosted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: The bed was VERY comfortable and there was plenty of room.
I stayed at the hotel alone while I attended a workshop in Pasadena. It is a good hotel considering the price. I was very comfortable, the morning breakfast was good, and I felt decently safe. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Urban Cowboy Reunion/35th Anniversary of MoviePosted Jun 8, 2015
I stayed at this hotel for both celebrations. Our annual Gilley's Club/Urban Cowboy Reunion and the 35th Anniversary of the release of the movie. I was one of the cast members in the movie. My only problem I had was the fact that I was seeking a hotel closer to the events to stay at than this particular one that Expedia suggested for me. I found quite a few that were much closer that I'll be using next year. But, this hotel was a nice one and I did enjoy my stay there.

Staff was very accommodating!Posted Apr 27, 2015
We were anxious to hit the road, so my husband and I left at 5 a.m. We arrived a little after 9 a.m. I went in and asked what time check-in was. I had reserved a room with a king size bed. He had one on the 2nd floor. I asked if he had anything on the 1st floor. He did, if I didn't mind a handicap room. That actually made the room larger, I believe. The room had a small table and computer chair, and a couch in addition to the king-size bed. The bathroom was of course larger to accommodate a wheelchair. He had the handicap room already cleaned, so we were given that one. We were allowed to check in immediately, and he even told us we could partake of the free breakfast, since it was open until 9:30 a.m. We didn't utilize that, because we had stopped along the way, but it was very nice of him to offer! I was very impressed that he allowed us to check in and get to our room much earlier than the normal check in time. We were tired from getting up so early, so a nap was nice!

Days Inn Pasenda, TXPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Had an almost family attitude toward guests.
Cons: Parking was an issue with only one entrance. Clumsy carrying baggage.
Location: Cruise terminal, gulf fishing, historical sites.
Great welcome, meet our needs. This makes a great location for folks traveling on cruise ships out of Houston terminal. The breakfast made a very pleasant start to a long day of activities. Very handy locations for area restaurants..

very good servicePosted Mar 29, 2015 on Hotels
the hotel was very nice and clean. always some one cleaning. It did smell musty in our room I attribute some of it to the weather but the furniture in the room needs updated and I believe between that and the carpeting that is what is musty

Good overallPosted Mar 16, 2015 on Hotels
We were there for 2 nights; check in was easy and the agent was courteous and friendly. Room was clean and it was comfortable, breakfast was included and it was overall good. The neighborhood wouldn't make me want to go out for a stroll but the hotel was located around several places to eat and near the highways.
