“No Frills”

Cheaper alternative to pricey hotels near the Galleria area of Houston. If you're on a business trip, it should work fine, not recommended for vacation stays

“Modestly Unimpressive”

Cheap room for the night.

This hotel is fine if all you are going to do is sleep there. Cool that they have a free continental breakfast. Not a place to hang out or vacation at.

“Could have been better.”

Although the toilet, sink and bathtub kept flodding and I had to call the front desk a couple of times, they did all that they could to help. The room was clean and the maid service was nice.

“Average but location is good and price cheap.”

Bit of a taxi ride from IAH but if you're sharing it's not too expensive. Hotel location is v. convenient if you have no car. Good pubs (try Richmond Arms) and restaurants (try the Palm)within easy walking distance. Hotel itself pretty much average but cheap for area.

it was cockroaches in the bathtub. as soon as i walked into the room

My daughter and her friend were the travelers at this time. The "first" room they had was dirty and smelled like mildew. There was no microwave and only a refrigerator. No matter how high they turned the thermostat, the room stayed cold. They were moved into another room that was alot better, cleaner, didn't smell and had the advertised microwave. They were in that room one night and were asked by management to move to another room. Although the "third" room was acceptable, I don't think they should have had to move around so much. I will not stay at this hotel or advise anyone I know to stay there.
