Very Close to Houston Attractions

The hotel staff was awesome and so helpful. I didn't have a chance to check out the full service Starbucks or either restaurant, but all three stayed busy during my trip.

Not Hilton Quality

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: The decor was lovely.
Cons: University of Houston has a hospitality program just down the road, please hire one of their students, even as an intern. Basic hospitality is needed
Location: Centrally located.
Headboard of bed was against elevator wall--noisy. Only 2 towels, even though they knew there was 2 guests. Staff was quite engaged with each other--felt bad interrupting their fun. Breakfast is nowhere at the hotel, Starbucks doesn't open until 7. Not Hilton quality at all--more Motel 6-ish.

Did Not Meet 4-Star Standards

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Good access to the highway. The room was acceptably clean. Staff was polite.
Cons: Renovate it to upgrade floors & walls. Put more & better towels in the rooms; get rid of the cigarette odor.
Location: It's in Houston. You can literally do thousands of things w/in 10 miles: sports, culture, music, university events, etc.
My husband and I usually stay in 3-star hotels to save money, so we were expecting an upgrade this time. Parking is underground (which is OK), but it's very cramped, narrow lanes, dark, and a little creepy. No elevator up 2 floors to the lobby, just narrow escalators. The room was VERY small - barely enough room to walk around the bed & other furniture. It smelled like cigarette smoke so much that we called right away to find out if it was a nonsmoking room. The bathroom had one good (fluffy) towel and one thin, sandpapery one. We could hear talking through the wall from the room next door to us. Overall, the hotel needed renovating - carpets, wallpaper, etc. Pretty much all of the 3-star hotels we have stayed in across the nation have been nicer than this hotel.

Great hotel but extremely busy

Hotel was clean, service was great, and a good location. Down sides include slow internet and noisy hallway at night.

Hotel in greenway

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Upon arriving, making our way to the parking garage was a little difficult. When we entered the hotel we were on the lower levels. We had to take two escalators to reach the lobby. When we went to check in the receptionist notified us that the systems were down and offered us a cookie which was yummy! We also received complimentary parking for the 20 minute wait. The room overall was nice but the hotel could use some renovations. The bathroom layout was strange and the tub was dated. There were coffee stains on the room service menu and the bed was a spring mattress -- which is also dated.

Concert weekend.

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: The location of the hotel is very convenient to downtown.
Cons: the parking lot spaces... they make no sense.. there are polls in spaces... some are so small it would be impossible for a car to fit. confusing.
Location: Nice restaurants around that location.
Great hotel stay for an affordable price. The rooms were clean, and the cleaning service was excellent.
