Convenient location to major shopping and business centers. Clean and well maintained room, smaller bathroom. I would prefer duvet cover rather than placing the blanket between two flat sheets. Decent breakfast buffet with satisfactory choices . Overall, I had a good experience with this hotel.

Sadness

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: the bed
Cons: see above
Location: busy area, i like the restaurants near by, lot's to choose
No hot water in the shower only in the vanity sink. The doors had no silencers so every time someone would leave their room, the doors including mine would slam shut resonating through out the hall way and into the rooms. The towels were not soft, they felt rough as if they were line dried, I know this because it's what we used to do on our ranch. I was there for only one day as a rest stop over and I got no rest and I didn't feel clean after the cold shower.

Weekend getaway, Shopping, Clubbing, Feasting

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Good location
The wait at the front desk was long due to lack of staff. Room was clean and in good shape except the bed was extremely firm and after using the shower the first time it would not go completely off and it stayed that way the remainder of the stay. The walls are pretty "thin" and we could hear our neighbors on both sides of us and the people talking at the pool from 5 floors up as well. Vending machine took our money and would not dispense product or return money. Valet staff went through a backpack that was in the back seat of our car.

Very Close to Houston Attractions

The hotel staff was awesome and so helpful. I didn't have a chance to check out the full service Starbucks or either restaurant, but all three stayed busy during my trip.

Not Hilton Quality

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: The decor was lovely.
Cons: University of Houston has a hospitality program just down the road, please hire one of their students, even as an intern. Basic hospitality is needed
Location: Centrally located.
Headboard of bed was against elevator wall--noisy. Only 2 towels, even though they knew there was 2 guests. Staff was quite engaged with each other--felt bad interrupting their fun. Breakfast is nowhere at the hotel, Starbucks doesn't open until 7. Not Hilton quality at all--more Motel 6-ish.

Did Not Meet 4-Star Standards

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Good access to the highway. The room was acceptably clean. Staff was polite.
Cons: Renovate it to upgrade floors & walls. Put more & better towels in the rooms; get rid of the cigarette odor.
Location: It's in Houston. You can literally do thousands of things w/in 10 miles: sports, culture, music, university events, etc.
My husband and I usually stay in 3-star hotels to save money, so we were expecting an upgrade this time. Parking is underground (which is OK), but it's very cramped, narrow lanes, dark, and a little creepy. No elevator up 2 floors to the lobby, just narrow escalators. The room was VERY small - barely enough room to walk around the bed & other furniture. It smelled like cigarette smoke so much that we called right away to find out if it was a nonsmoking room. The bathroom had one good (fluffy) towel and one thin, sandpapery one. We could hear talking through the wall from the room next door to us. Overall, the hotel needed renovating - carpets, wallpaper, etc. Pretty much all of the 3-star hotels we have stayed in across the nation have been nicer than this hotel.
